Hi! I'm sorry if you already answered something similar, I couldn't find anything! And english isn't my first language so it'll probably be badly worded. But! Since Aedas don't have a long lifespan, I wanted to know if a relation with an Aeda!MC would be different? Like, would it makes some LI hesitant? I mean, most LI will apparently still be alive wayyy after the MC passed away from old age, even humans can live longer than them

The social impact of different lifespans between species is definitely a thing that can affect relationships. It’s one of the reasons most Aeda stay secluded in their own cities - aside from being able to fly (so their cities aren’t easily accessible), they only live a fraction of elven, dwarven and Melusine lifetimes.
However, I do think that this world doesn’t have the same ideas about romance and relationships as our world does, to a degree. The idea of single soulmates doesn’t exist to the same extent that it does here. Living out a complete life with a single partner, and only that partner, is not really romanticized.
Some couples may be together for life, but others live with the knowledge that their partner will outlive them by decades or centuries and they will not be the only important person in their partner’s life. It’s not usually a big deal, but if you’re human or Aeda and romancing Ren, Calla or Mel, it may be something to discuss at some point in their romance arc.
