BACKGROUND:

If you're surrounded by the world of the 'Mafia' and all things linked to The Family, including their rivals, you'll know of The Donatelli's, that just goes without saying. Emilio had taken over his position with force, and a presence that nobody could deny. But, when it came to his family? The man was entirely opposing in every way. He was kind. Soft. Raised his daughters with respect, and fierce loyalty to those who deserve it. Alas, a part of him had always wanted sons, so of course, he instilled the same mentality within his girls, that he would've with his sons. Particularly in their world. They were strong. A force to be reckoned with. And in a male dominated world, they would be able to walk into a room and own it within every capacity.

Growing up, Sirena was the middle child, and it was ever so apparent. Perhaps it was why she had tried to embody the more male domination within her career path, desperate to offer something unique to her for her father, that wouldn't be overshadowed by her other equally as dutiful siblings. Power, politics, and a hand behind the scenes. Everything that Benny had started their lineage on, and Ren was more than determined to keep that going as a lawyer for the rich and powerful. Of course, at first, she kept her desire to join him within The Family at first, given his reluctance to get his daughters involved. Instead, she focused on political law, and business strategy; in turn allowing her to get close to some equally as influential people in the scene.

However, things changed, her siblings and her becoming increasingly involved in The Family life, her father adjusting to their influence over the world he was so accustomed to. He was recognising the strong willed daughters he'd brought up, and how they wanted nothing more than to help him through 'gang life', whilst supporting one another in whatever way that particular sibling could. And, in Sirena's case, she wanted to become their personal lawyer, or at least one of. Her experience had continued to grow since leaving law school, and settling in her prior job. She was headstrong, to say the last, and cut throat when needed, something her father taught her to be in such a male domineering world.

Unfortunately though, what none of them anticipated, was continuing their journey within this world without him. His death untimely, and in front of their eyes. But, Sirena has her connections. Both inside and outside of their organisation, and she's not above using them to dig up a little more dirt to avenge her father and investigate the circumstances behind his tragic passing. Granted, there's a special place in Hell for a particular person at Nightshade, so if it turned out that they were involved, she'd happily jump at the chance to press her heel to his throat, not much convincing needed. Alas, there's no definitive proof with whom betrayed her father. Just that The Hollow was responsible. So, unmasking the particular people involved is top of her agenda at present, and she's more than willing to throw caution to the wind to achieve this.

As far as Sirena goes as a person, she's very much like father like daughter. Strong-willed. Passionate. Headstrong. Ruthless. Loyal to a fault. And there's nothing she wouldn't do for her sisters. Those are her people. Her family. And the only two people, outside of her other immediate family, she could truly trust. If they told her the sky was purple, she'd hands down believe them. But, at the same time, she'll do just about anything for those that prove themselves loyal to her too. Typically those within The Family, these days, considering her ties to other organisations have caused her heartache or frustration in the past. But alas, she's not above forming connections for the sake of business, and sometimes even pleasure. Though the latter is significantly more fun, of course.

peyton was born as the only child to her father thomas. she was the product of a loving relationship that ended in tragedy as she was torn from her mother's womb early once her mother got a diagnosis of breast cancer during her pregnancy. the hormones that were growing at a rapid rate due to the third trimester had made the cells grow faster and within less than a year, she had succumbed to her diagnosis. her father hadn't ever been the same since then, though the girl had only heard such things from people who knew him before.

she only knew the cold and distant man that she watched from afar, though he reserved some rare moments of warmth for his only daughter. she often found herself int he back room of sip happens drawing or doing homework while her father filled some paperwork or was up front drinking with the regulars. the bar was his pride and joy and he worked hard to keep it as neutral ground so he could steer clear of the lifestyle that often found their way on their doorstep. it was always close but always out of reach of his daughter and he reminded her of that.

the bar was always an establishment that would become hers and she prided herself on that. she would spend days and nights watching and listening as he taught her the ins and outs of running it. she'd work during her free nights and weekends, taking more and more over time. though she understood after a while that her father had grown sick and he was preparing her for the time that he would no longer be around. when he found himself in hospital, she called tyson and asked for him to take care of her father. he was the person she trusted most and her entire world shattered when her father died sooner than originally believed.

while she never suspected that her father was an angel or a good man as she'd seen and heard things growing up that she'd deliberately turned a cheek from because of the fear of losing the only parent she had, she couldn't ever imagine that he was as bad a man as she would soon come to find out.

once a bright, sensitive kid, so far ago it seems almost like a dream, one far from reality. the memories of laughter despite father's cruetly and cold gaze, a light that could shine despite carrow manor's oppressive, sultry darkness. what do you do with all this love when you have nowhere to give it, no one to receive it? you get rid of it and you are moulded into what you were meant to be.

sensitivity and emotions turn into spite and anger. towards father and mother, towards the world. amycus doesn't have much of a childhood, from both lessons and mr. carrow's creative punishments to being dragged along into meetings with important people or playing the charming son in mother's social events, the carrow heir begins to look down on his peers - wasting their time with silly, childish games, they could never handle what he did, deal with all his responsibilities. jealousy had turned into arrogance. he didn't want what he couldn't have, anyway. and whatever he wanted, he would get.

at hogwarts he is very selective with who he surrounds himself with. purebloods or peers from well off, influential families, his equals. the rest amycus will engage with only when he needs something, making them a part of a 'grand scheme' or whatever he had come up with at the time. he spent little time on the subjects that didn't interest him as grades did not matter - why would they? his future was set, he was to inherit everything his father owned and built, or inherited from his father before him. money or such matters as worrying about his future job would never matter to a carrow.

so at hogwarts he focuses more on the social aspect of the school, in other words - doing dumb shit with his mates, parties and quidditch. as expected, not long after he graduates a job at the ministry is guaranteed.

a useful asset to the dark lord as there are rarely any lines he wouldn't cross, amycus fixates on receiving the dark mark at last. not so much for the cause itself or even voldemort, but because he was good at his job. he belonged there. it both killed him and made him feel alive.

very obsessive when he has a set goal, but achieving it doesn't bring much satisfaction as he moves onto the next thing. hates the feeling of boredom or emptiness which prompts some of his worse decisions <3

he is the older twin and won't let you forget it but also it means he is very much of an eldest sibling, cannot grasp the possibility of ever being wrong or people not abiding to his every wish (which is automatically a command) (he knows best) (he's just taking care of people you see).

• Generally makes people uneasy. She’s visibly disturbed & clearly unstable which makes people uncomfortable.

• It doesn’t help that she’s an avid thief & people don’t like having their things stolen.

• HARPER — Used to avoid their therapy appts at any cost. Morgan got in her head about him, so she was resilient & slow to warm up. But, deep into treatment at her first asylum visit, she became enthusiastic.

**Looked forward to bathing every day** (because it meant he would touch her and get her off). Liked the way his medicine made her feel, and loved his attention even more.

• KYLAR — A genuine friend. One of the only people she likes being around. Prefers when he’s silent and not overbearing. Keeps him at an arms distance because he’s a little… too into her.

He’s made it very clear that he wants to be more than friends/friends with benefits, but she ignores his feelings. She doesn’t want to date him. She doesn’t want him to “fix her” or “keep her safe”.

• WHITNEY — Evangeline is easy to throw around & take advantage of. She does what Whitney asks of her, little to no resistance.

After finishing high school, Nazli moved to Turkey to reconnect with her roots. She attended Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, where she studied literature and creative writing. The vibrant culture of the city and its rich history left a lasting impression on her, inspiring her to pursue her writing while absorbing the beauty of her heritage.

After graduating, Nazli spent several years working as a freelance editor and travel writer. During this time, she had the chance to travel across Europe and the Middle East, all while embracing the creative energy and diverse cultures she encountered. Nazli was able to call Ankara, Dubai, Kuwait, Paris, Milan, Munich, Budapest and Prague home during the various times of her travels. Although she was far from Devil’s Junction, the pull of her family always lingered in her heart.

my portrayal of lilith plays with the idea that, as created equal to man, lilith is a narrative foil to adam in that she is cut of the same cloth — she is unapologetically confident, arrogant, and narcissistic. she is also clever & cunning, the snake hidden betwixt roses.

she is not all evil. she is not all good. she fights for the causes she believes in ( the liberation of women, the safety of her citizens, etc. ) but makes no apology for her aloof demeanour. she holds a lot of anger ... at adam, at god, at lucifer, for having failed her when it mattered.

she loved lucifer, and their family, though perhaps not in the way he wanted. she didn't feel satisfied in that role.

my main verse is based on the presumption that, before she was taken to heaven, lilith was plotting a rebellion against heaven, making political moves behind lucifer's back to wage war against the angels and put an end to heaven's tyranny.

Life began on some 500 acres in grassland hills of Northern California for Cash Henley, starting out as a younger brother and eventually became the middle child of a ranching family.

From his early days he knew the meaning and way of hard work. If he could walk he knew his way around horses and cattle and chores around the ranch weren't far behind then.

They would go to fairs and rodeos often. His older brother fell in love with music first and learned the guitar but it was Cash that had the talent for writing. Melodies had a way of forming in his head that left little doubt for what was ahead of him in life.

Of course, in the beginning, that wasn't his dream. His brother wanted to be on the stage and performing to that cowboy crowd. All Cash wanted was to ride bulls and brocs. To become a hero amongst all the men he looked up to.

While he could ride Cash wasn't allowed to enter into any rodeo events until he was an adult. It wasn't for any reason other than his family didn't want him potentially getting hurt when he was needed to help take care of the ranch.

So during that time his older brother taught him to play guitar and they would write songs together. When it would come to arranging the music and the lyrics, getting the melody down, that was when it was discovered that Cash could sing. And sing well.

Tragedy hit when everyone had been least expecting it. His younger sister had taken her own life and he'd been the one to find her. The note she'd left behind had named an abuser and for what he'd done to the man that had hurt her, well, Cash was given two options— prison or the military.

He chose the military and was thrown into the marine corps right after high school. It was fine, really, Cash had always wanted to do the same as his father and grandfather did before him and that was to do his service in the military.

Bootcamp had actually been fairly simple for a young man raised the way he had been. Cash was big and strong, was excellent with handling a gun and shooting, could carry and haul weight around, and wasn't fragile by any means.

Still, when those 4 years were up, he didn't stay on with the marines. Cash went home and picked up the guitar as a way to get everything he'd experienced out of his head. And when he was performing with his brother Cash ended up getting scouted and ended up with a record deal months later.

Off to Nashville he went where he wrote and recorded and put together an album. He performed many small gigs around and went on tours with bigger artists to get his name and music out there and heard. But the music scene was different than anything Cash had experienced before.

There was so much easy access to alcohol and drugs. Everything seemed like a party all the time. For a man that was wounded and nursing some traumas from his past and the military Cash didn't handle it well.

The release was too good and the addiction began.

When Cash was playing gig at a bar in New York, mostly for fun, he spotted the most beautiful girl in the crowd and it was like love at first sight for him. Cash sang a song for her and did everything he could to get her name that night.

Somehow he won Leyla over and she gave him the time of day. Their romance was intense for him, he'd fallen hard and fast, but Cash was also building his career and had trouble staying away from the party scene.

That moment Leyla had told him that she was pregnant— Cash will never not regret his reaction. The only excuse was that he wasn't well. He told her he wasn't ready to be a father and couldn't be apart of it, that was something he'd envisioned for them down the line. Even in the midst of everything Cash knew he wasn't fit.

The second biggest regret? When Leyla had left and gone back to her hometown he hadn't chased her.

Then he missed the birth of his child and the early years of raising her while he spent his time touring, drinking, putting bad substances in his body, and spent years burning himself hollow.

It was his brother that had come to his rescue and picked him up off the floor and threw Cash into rehab. He'd been destroying his life and what had finally gotten through to Cash was his brother telling him he couldn't lose another sibling.

Now clean and sober for a year, it's time for him to do the right thing. Not only does he want to meet his daughter, Cash wants to make amends for all the damage and ruin he has caused.
