Though, no, I mean.. He is just such an interesting character ! I am pretty much convinced he is based on Robert Plant, Especially where his looks are concerned. He is a super chill individual, and he FEELS a lot and allows himself to. He is a dramatic bitch, which is incredibly fun to write. He is also a visored which gives so much more angles to write with. 

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  —  I think people usually tend to say that his fights/abilities are boring, though I just believe he was done dirty lol. His abilities are really cool but they pretty much made him tell his opponents how to beat him so like ??? Also, the flair for drama is something some people might really not appreciate. 

What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  All the layers in writing him, and he also has a special place in my heart because I moved to him from Izuru. Where Izuru is a muse I picked up because I was in a terrible headspace, I moved on from him to Rose who also gives opportunities to play his melancholy, but has a positive note to his personality usually, which... Really helps me.

What keeps your inspiration going?  —  All the connections to other characters he has, and developing these relationships. At times it is also AUs I get to play (whether modern or something else), and because he is a visored you have a 100 years of human history at your disposal to use in your writing !

I also don’t tell people to never critices me, obviously, and please do so when I do something that hurts you, but where my portrayal is concerned I really don’t... Care what other people think and don’t need your opinion, sorry ^w^;

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?  —  HELL YES. especially when they are based on threads I have or something. I love exploring dynamics between characters and I really like thinking about my muse’s motivations and choices. HC questions may take me a while though.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  —  Depends. If they want to tell me I won’t ignore them, but chances are you won’t change my mind.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —  I mean.. The unfollow button is right there. There is no reason why you’d have to tell me, unless you think I’m being offensive in some way, in that case, do let me know.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  Loooool Rose is too minor a character for anyone to hate him tbh.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  Yes. they happen a loooot lol, and I’m not a native English speaker/writer. So if you see them, or we have a thread together, feel free to tell me, or to correct my mistakes on your reply reblog.

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —I like to think so. I am not a very chill person in real life and at the same time I am ?? I have a lot of anxiety lol but I’ve taught myself to cope, so my body will be like OH SHIT, STRESS and my mind will be like lol chill out. This translates in RP and interactions through me being a little distant to people I don’t already know (social anxiety lol) and coming off cold, I guess. I also don’t have the energy to interact with a lot of people, and I’m old... so like... I like what I’ve already built here. I definitely always try to be polite, but years on tumblr have made me very no-nonsense.

Most people just call ZPiW the game with anime girls wielding guns. Outside of me, not much fanart is produced of the peach boy, as it’s well, mostly the girls. Miiverse revealed that the ratio is a bit more even but still, peeps really like them girl designs (designed by a female artist) ]

is your character considered hot™ in the fandom?  YES / NO / IDK. [ i mean ?? i’ve met and seen many people who have/had crushes on geno so ??????? but i don’t think it’s like. that. ghfskjhgsg??? ]

is your character considered strong in the fandom?  YES / NO / IDK. [ Personally, I have to say yes. Momotaro is strong as frick because in game, you’re supposed to level towns to “clean them up”. And this is in addition to the traditional Momotaro folktale that, a Momotaro is a strong child who can lift. However, most just look to Snow White as the strongest cuz she dented metal bare handed...and well is the “face” of the game.]

are they underrated?  YES / NO / IDK. [ This game is better known for having girls...with guns. But I wouldn’t say he’s really *that* underrated, considering the basic character is just that...basic. ]

were they relevant for the main story?  YES / NO. [ Well, my theory is that he just stumbled upon the fight between survivors and zombies so...kind of yes? Momotaro was one to actually gather folks to storm the castle as they say, because it seems before hand the other heroes were just minding their own business. So, being the one who talks the most (ironically) and the one that the game follows...yeah he’s relevant.]

were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ Sadly so, in the sense that I wished the devs would’ve allowed for branching plots depending on which character you choose. This is including the fact that the game is purposely trying to emulate how old-school games were bare bones in characterizations and plot.]

are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. [ Just another folklore hero in the world of Wonderland...a place chock FULL of fairy tales and folktales. Though he might’ve garnered a reputation of being destructive after ZPiW... ]

HOW STRICTLY DO YOU FOLLOW CANON?  —  Ehhhh...I think I make do with what I got from the teeny breadcrumbs of canon I got...however, many folks commented that Momotaro looks WAAAAAAY tougher than what I make him out to be so...I guess that’s a fail for following canon strictly on my part. .w.;; If I truly went 1:1, things may be bland...or not...I mean there’s as many subversions to the traditional heroes as there are well, the typical shounen stuff.

SELL YOUR MUSE! AKA TRY TO LIST EVERYTHING, WHICH MAKES YOUR MUSE INTERESTING IN YOUR OPINION TO MAKE THEM SPICY FOR YOUR MUTUALS.  —  Is Momotaro an OC at this point? Probably. But hey, if you guys want a lad who’s adorable but tough...you could look elsewhere...or you can find that in Momo! I wanted to try to represent some stuff of special needs, but I’m still working out the kinks...but the kid’s loyal, and a very good cook at that! He definitely needs a confidence booster, but could that be part of his charm? Maybe. But hey, I think y’all might really like the idea I got for him, and mainly Smash! Like, have you ever wondered what goes on in that mansion? ...well yes, but what about those who aren’t fighters? Or even assist trophies! That’s where the smash verse comes in! Take a peek into the (tough) lives of Waddle Dees and the peach boy, along with other creatures not suitable for Smash! They’re just as handy for making sure the place is well run and fed! If someone isn’t cleaning and cooking to maintain 70+ fighters, and 20+ assist trophies...who is?

NOW THE OPPOSITE, LIST EVERYTHING WHY YOUR MUSE COULD NOT BE SO INTERESTING (EVEN IF YOU MAY NOT AGREE, WHAT DOES THE FANDOM PERHAPS THINK?).  —  This is a character from a game whose designers may appreciate the female figure a bit too much. I always have a tough time recommending this game to others, and hell, I’m terrible at playing it myself. Hell, the fact that most of the characters are minors is just a...”why do you design them like this Bo.mi” thing. Most do seem to think highly of those designs though, as that’s the main aspect of the game I keep hearing in my searches. Now, I’ve received a good amount of concerns over the years that Momotaro not speaking proper English is either racist or babyish...or both. Is my take too depressing? There are often times I think yes, and feel unbelievable shame over it despite others going hard on the angst train.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE?  —  Well uh, I believe I was charmed by his rugged but baby appearance in the game..and it just so happen at the time that I was part of a budding rp group. Despite the theme being mostly “OUENDAN”, that was the start of me shoving Momotaro into every fuckin’ thing because he’s cute as shit and obscure muses can be fun too! It was also probably relaxing for me because gosh dang back then I was scared of getting something wrong about someone canon with more lore...and I am still scared about that to this day.

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING?  —  Studying about Japanese culture, learning the language...the fact that I’ve been rping him for almost 10 years (read like 8-9 at this point)...I do wonder if I should stop rping him...and then I keep hearing that people only want characters only in as fighters, fighters are the only important thing about smash and that grows my weird spite and just continue this “backstage” plot of Smash. Yes, getting a franchise in as a fighter is a VERY high commemoration but, I think it’s just as equally amazing when a franchise gets in as an assist trophy or even a spirit/trophy! So yeah it’s petty and I better find some other motivation soon because it’s exhausting.

do you think you give your character justice?  yes / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? [ Ahaha....I’m starting to give up on that idea at this point, as several noted that Momotaro isn’t as timid in canon as I write him. But I do try to keep those boneheaded traits of the peach boy in my portrayal. ]

do you frequently write headcanons?  YES / NO / SORT OF? [ It’s a must for Momotaro, whose game is a tribute to how the old timey arcade games didn’t have much to their plots. Otherwise, I would think that playing him would end up pretty dry..whether I play him closer to canon or not. ]

do you sometimes write drabbles?  YES / NO [ ...I should write more. ]

do you think a lot about your muse during the day? YES / NO [ Stupidly yes. Been playing him for 8 years so it’s a hard habit to break. ]

are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ I mean, if I wasn’t confident enough I would’ve dropped him...though I have thought about that several times. There be times where I run into some sort of writer’s block due to his meek (and traumatized) nature, and because of how he speaks, it’s scary. Am I pushing his issues too much...? Or just HIM in general...? ]

are you confident in your writing?  YES / NO. [ Again, writer block happens when some muses don’t click, or personally I don’t want to interact with someone. And then when I do want to write with someone, I fear that my simpler (children’s book) ways of writing would be a turn off. I don’t want to end up babbling too long that there’s too much detail but I shudder at seeing single lines in response to long prose. ]

are you a sensitive person?  YES / NO. / sorta. [ Yeaaaah i get stressed and cry at lot at confrontation and just...anxiety in general. Been trying to keep that off the dash though, as I’m sure peeps got their own troubles already. DMs are good to have y’all. ]

DO YOU ACCEPT CRITICISM WELL ABOUT YOUR PORTRAYAL?  —  I do my best to take crits when I get them but sometimes it just haunts me because I have mixed feelings on being told that the way he speaks is racist or childish.  But hey, if you got more advice on how to write trauma and special needs, I’m all ears! Particularly because I’m writing from my own experience in my life and research. ...Dad isn’t that superb at speaking English and that's where I got the Momo speak.

DO YOU LIKE QUESTIONS, WHICH HELP YOU EXPLORE YOUR CHARACTER?  —  Yes please...but at this point I kinda have sadly accepted that’s just gonna be rare because he’s obscure.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?  —  as my take on Momotaro is very meek, I’d like to see how one would take  on a more confident/more canon true take on him. But that’s a pipe dream. Coruse the only headcanon I will never take (that I fear the fandom will have due to perverted nature) is that he’s just a fuckin harem protag wanting to get into pants. To that I say: NO. In canon he doesn’t give a fuck about the fact his teammates are girls...or even acknowledges that they're girls. It’s the time to survive, not boogie on beds...or at a tree.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT?  — I anticipate that wholly because again, I have gotten comments that my take on Momotaro has not properly prepared them to witness the sheer destruction and toughness that is canontaro. Honestly I’d be hyped to see more takes...except for the harem route ones. Am I gonna jinx myself for saying it that much?

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT?  —  I probably would be sad but understanding...I mean it’s not the first time that someone has taken deep offense at Momo and me, mainly in the rp sense. I would hope they would at least go find something that makes them happy.

Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.  —  you like the adventure era sonic? you hate how he sometimes handles really serious scenarios or brushes them off like nothing, as if they aren’t traumatic as shit in any way? wanna see a pretty mentally and emotionally fucked up lad struggle with handling his troubles and keep up the dark/serious theme SA2 set that sega is too cowardly to go back to in modern day? well bOY DO I HAVE THE HEDGEHOG FOR YOU. this bad boy ACTUALLY has emotions and struggles with handling them and many other things due to the position he has put himself in over the course of his life, but also doesn’t completely wear him down and stop him from being who he is! as well as dealing with the fact he and his timeline are MUCH further behind than other alternates of himself and friends. sonic “ whirl ” hedgehog is a young hero still running his way through life the way he wants like the rebellious, free-spirited teenager he is, while learning that not only is he a hero, but he’s also a person.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  — quite frankly, he’s sonic. there’s a lot of them out there. he can probably be too energetic, positive, etc, or perhaps this blog focuses a little too much on his trauma and internal struggles or even the general dark theme to the point it’s a turnoff or just hard to really read. he’s also an annoying idiot to the point it’s frustrating.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — yo sonic was my fucking LIFEBLOOD as a kid. lived and breathed this franchise. sa2 was my first game ever, sonic was my fav character (and still is), so my absolute love for this specific version of him became too much to internalize sooooo here we are ; w ;

What keeps your inspiration going? —  straight up, sonic is probably my biggest comfort character to exist ever. always makes me happy, always makes me feel better when im down, etc. there’s nothing he can’t do that doesn’t make me smile, regardless of how sega treats him. being able to pour my ideas into a character i love so much to the point he becomes really personalized (and personal for me), and it’s actually something people enjoy seeing and interacting with? it gives me so much goddamn sertonin.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — ill be the first to admit im. v attached to sonic as a whole. he means a lot to me! so going off abt how you may (generally) hate him really....... is just upsetting to me. but thats just bc im v attached to him, and there’s nothing wrong with having that opinion on him!! we all get upset when someone talks bad about something we love. all i ever ask is that try to keep it away from me, especially if it’s abt whirl in particular, bc it can really upset me and thats just not fun for anyone <:3c

Were they relevant for the main story?  YES / NO (in Canon, no, he’s not relevant to the main story. If he didn’t exist, the game wouldn’t miss much in terms of playability, But i do play him in a way that makes him more relevant)

Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. (No matter the run you chose, You encounter sans at the end of the game)

Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. (He’s well known because he helped in the construction of the core at a young age, Long before he was known for his lazy, joking nature)

How’s their reputation?  GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. (It’s neutral now because most people in the usual time, don’t know he worked on the core, they don’t even know he was a scientist! and sans is generally hush, hush about it. He has a hard to work around attitude and it takes a long time to know the true him past the heavy walls he’s built up. So many people only know him as the slightly off, lazy, jokester sibling of papyrus)

HOW STRICTLY DO YOU FOLLOW CANON?  — While i do follow some points of canon, I am 100% far more canon-divergent then full canon, It’s just part of how i play muses. I put my own on my favorite chara’s and in some ways, make them my own.

SELL YOUR MUSE! AKA TRY TO LIST EVERYTHING, WHICH MAKES YOUR MUSE INTERESTING IN YOUR OPINION TO MAKE THEM SPICY FOR YOUR MUTUALS.  —  Mysterious, Sans is someone you apparently know everything yet nothing about, he’s open yet closed off to all that matters. He’s more then meets the eye, but he doesn’t have the energy to put that forth because of what’s going on behind the scenes of the world they live in, He adores his brother and cares greatly for the people who get close to him even if it’s hard to manage some days, he walks a fine line between unaware’s and knowing all.

NOW THE OPPOSITE, LIST EVERYTHING WHY YOUR MUSE COULD NOT BE SO INTERESTING (EVEN IF YOU MAY NOT AGREE, WHAT DOES THE FANDOM PERHAPS THINK?).  —  He’s not easy to get along with despite what the joking nature may seem, it’s at best ‘surface’ level type of friendship, He doesn’t like humans and he doesn’t like you. He can put on a facade for his friends, his family, but if you disappeared and didn’t come back? he wouldn’t care. He wouldn’t look for you, he wouldn’t do anything to get you back, Because unlike papyrus or toriel or anyone else, You aren’t worth the effort and you’d have to put a lot of work to get anywhere near that point.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE?  —  I played sans in the past, a very, very long time ago. He was my first true muse on tumblr, but i didn’t play him well because i didn’t know what i was doing, It’s only recently that i saw the undertale fandom was still alive and well that i decided to jump back into this punny skeleton man i adored so long ago and turns out? my motivation for him never left! and i’ve laughed a lot in the short time i’ve played him.

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING?  —  It’s fueled a lot by my own love for the game, the character and the fandom itself but, that’s not to say it isn’t fueled by the interactions i’ve had either. it’s chaotic, silly, sad but wonderful, i’ve felt incredibly welcomed in a very short time ;w;

Do you think you give your character justice?  YES / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? (This is one of those, i really damn well hope so but i’m not the best ‘judge’ of that :P)

Do you frequently write headcanons?  YES / NO / SORT OF? (Me, glancing at my giant drabble like headcannons, me?? Nooooooo)

Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO (If i don’t occasionally churn out a full af drabble then assume i’m dead)

Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO (Yes, even when i’m not writing him, there’s always ideas or things i want to do in my head)

Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? (Of course!)

Are you confident in your writing?  YES / NO. (I am!, even if other people didn’t like it, I’m happy with how i write)

Are you a sensitive person?  YES / NO. / SORTA.  (Generally no!, I can be sympathetic both for chara’s and the muns behind them but it’s not going to get to me in a way that really impacts me.)

DO YOU ACCEPT CRITICISM WELL ABOUT YOUR PORTRAYAL?  —  Of course, as long as it’s viable and useful criticism, i am more then happy to take it. Will i always agree with it? no, But will i always take it into consideration? yes.

DO YOU LIKE QUESTIONS, WHICH HELP YOU EXPLORE YOUR CHARACTER?  — PLS

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?  —  I’d be happy to know why someone dislikes it and what they have instead of that headcannon but i ain’t gonna be huffy if they don’t have a reason to dislike it

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT?  — I’d be more then fine with it, they can tell me WHY if they want to but i’m also not gonna care if people don’t like how i do it personally, there’s plenty of sans out there, each with their own unique interpretation of the character. Don’t like this one, Go find a different one, If you don’t like any of them. Maybe write him yourself! :D

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT?  —  I’d just shrug, Not everyone is going to like a character from a game, Like. I adore undertale but i don’t really like muffet. Does that mean i’m going to shit on muffet rpers? no. Does that mean i won’t interact with muffets? no.

ARE YOU OKAY WITH PEOPLE POINTING OUT YOUR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS?  — If you see them, you can but unless it’s a big mistake. i prob won’t go back to fix it.

DO YOU THINK YOU ARE EASY GOING AS A MUN?   —  Awh yeah, i am chaotic and feral but i’m friendly and i don’t bite. If anything, i’m overenthusiastic.

(( i’ve said this like 8 million times but yes, im saying it again: felide is a difficult muse to interact with.

i’ll admit part of this is because i favor interacting w other ancestors over... pretty much everything else. i love ancestors rp, it’s been one of my favorite things since i started in this fandom. moreover, felide is old. her culture is much different than that of any of the kids, beta or alpha trolls. her methods are archaic. her thinking is archaic - unconventional, yes, but still archaic. she’s shy and has a volatile temper and that’s why i don’t usually have her go to big events: she’s a difficult muse to get along with. she’s almost impossible for any human to truly “connect” with. her story is a hard one and it’s not for everyone - still, it impacts everything in her life.

moreover, i as a mun am rather tired of how felide has been heavy-handed by other muns, reduced only to her anger or her grief or even nothing at all. i tend to keep to my own now instead of branching out and trying new things and attempting rp with new muns. i’ve been fucked over not just in terms of my character but also in terms of my personal relationships with other muns. i’m tired. i don’t want that to happen again.

if you still want to rp with me, i have another muse at @liohart. this is a bronzeblooded nepeta. read her pages, but she’s still my character, and she - unlike felide - is rather easy to reach! she’s a nepeta, she lives in a modern era, she played the game alongside humans and so can relate to them decently well. i just revived her today and i don’t plan on ending her anytime soon. i will be much more lenient with my following there because i have so many more options, and she needs to talk to new people anyway, so it’s a win for all parties.
