Me, vibing: Now that I have finished the event, perhaps I can do things now-

My brain: Remember that one episode in Teen Titans? Where Robin gets a faceful of hallucinogenic gas?? And hallucinates his greatest enemy and obsessively pursues and attempts to fight said hallucination of his enemy to the point where he’s incidentally injuring himself and the resulting stress on his brain from it all damn near kills him??? Yeah, what if that, but Abyss magic or Fatui heckenings-

{Okay, so back when all that international kissing day stuff was going around I started bouncing a headcanon in my head that I meant to post back then when all that was going on. But then I got supremely distracted and forgot all about it.}

{And even though that ship has already sailed like eons ago I just now remembered it and I still want to talk about it.}

{So rather than wait for the next appropriate moment when I will have assuredly forgotten all about it again, I’m going to post it now.}

⚅ Hanekoma and Casual Intimacy  ⚅

⚀ Hanekoma is very comfortable with the idea of casual intimacy. If you’ve ever seen one of those things going around along the lines of “I think friends should be allowed to make out casually”, that’s exactly how Hanekoma feels, not even as a joke. It’s no secret that he really enjoys platonic intimacy in the way of hugs and pecks on the cheek/forehead/etc., but as a concept he’s also really on-board with the idea of friends very casually enjoying intimacy usually reserved for couples even leading into nsfw situations.

⚀ I say “as a concept” because while he wouldn’t bat an eyelash at hearing of this sort of arrangement between other friends, he would never actually engage in that sort of behavior himself, and in fact openly shies away from it. Because Hanekoma is such an emotionally driven person himself, he knows that he wouldn’t be able to stay on a friendship basis with anyone that he shared that kind of intimacy with, and he would never feel safe giving that kind of intimacy to anyone that was just his friend. Even friends haven’t established that level of trust with him. If he’s making out with someone, he will fall in love with them. And in fact, if he’s making out with someone, he likely already has.

⚀ But he doesn’t like the idea that certain forms of intimacy should be reserved to certain levels of a relationship. Nor does he believe that a relationship should be considered shallow if those forms of intimacy are being shared between two people who are just friends. His personal belief is that each person’s relationship is unique, and if casually making out with your best friend is something that both you and your best friend are comfortable with, no one has the right to say you’re more than friends or that your friendship doesn’t mean as much as any other kind of relationship.

i don't know how I'm supposed to be feeling.. im glad Archer's not dead.. but... i feel anxious.. and panicked. and.. like im not.. allowed to be happy about this.. after a-all of the vile shit i've said about her... a-and i don't really know how they'll respond, i-if they even find out at all. would it be okay to pretend i never did it..? maybe.. i could delete the posts.. but... I really can't just.. say I didn't do anything wrong, can I? that'd make me a liar. and liars are just as bad, aren't they?
