"Oh it was a beautiful wedding, far better than other royal ones I've been to. Iconic really. I mean if that is how you start a marriage, no wonder it was so successful. Vic told me later it was love at first sight and a very memorable night if you know what I mean. Al said the same thing," Adelina explained over her glass of champagne, "This wedding though? Amazing. They're adorable, don't you think?" she asked Hen as she pointed out Mariza and Alex with the twins on the dance floor.

"They're joking right?" Adelina asked, glancing at the one who had just spoken, "Dios mio, please tell me they are joking."

"I'm not saying it's a terrible drink," Adelina said to the man across the table after she tried the drink she'd ordered, "I'm just saying I would have put more angostura bitters in it," she explained, "How's yours?"

Adelina finished her drink and placed it on the bar, "I'm bored," she said turning to the other, "We're the only interesting people here," she added with a smile, "Wanna get out of here?"

"Luc, I'm fine. See?" Adelina pulled down the shoulder of her shirt to show that her wounds had now completely healed. It had taken a day or two but she was never going to die from it, "Will you stop worrying about me now? I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself."

"Hen!" Adelina exclaimed, reaching her sister and hugging her tightly. She could have cried seeing her, "Thank god you're okay, I was so worried," she currently had a bandage covering the siren infected wound. It was definitely healing but it was slow and she didn't want to get blood anywhere, "Lily? PJ? Are they okay?"

"A little birdie told me you were involved in a fight at Le Neptune," Adelina replied, "Bartenders talk. How come you didn't tell me?" she asked, "Also, who is PJ? His name came up a lot when I was talking to my friend."

Adelina delicately put the cheesecake bite in her mouth as she watched the scene unfold. She did love a bit of drama, even if she wasn't involved. It was her own source of entertainment at this boring event at the casino. She had somehow managed to get out of working it and attending instead. In the midst of the drama, she saw a familiar face, "Azlee, hey," she smiled and held out her plate of tiny-sized food to her, "I know we don't need it but it is delicious," she paused, "Have you see what's going on over there?" she asked, "I can't imagine fighting like this so publicly."

Adelina quickly snuck behind the bar when no one was looking and poured herself another glass of champagne. As she turned to walk back around, she spotted a family face and smirked, "You're not going to tell on me, Blackthorne, are you?"

"Azlee, my love," Adelina leaned in to kiss the woman on both cheeks in greeting, "It's been too long. How are you? Enjoying the wedding?"

“Are those the boots I got you?” Adelina asked, beaming, “They look even better on you with that outfit. You are stunning.”

“You know, I am desperate to go to Milan but I am in need of someone to go with. Vanya is unavailable but I was thinking who better for a girl’s trip than my favourite original?” Adelina said with a hopeful smile, “What do you say?”

“Sorry I’m late, Hen,” Adelina said, greeting the blonde with a kiss on both cheeks before sitting down at their table, “The Christmas Markets have just opened, makes it dreadfully difficult to get through town. Were you waiting long?”
