> Shuren is a Sinner (Togabito) who resides in Hell. He is the equivalent of the Shinigami (who reside in the soul society) and the arrancar/espada (who reside in Hueco Mundo)

> Since he is a sinner trapped in hell, he is dead and, therefore, a spiritual being who can only be seen by other spiritual beings, or by humans with high spiritual energy.

> It is not known in canon what kind of sins landed him in Hell, but I like to think it was something involving lust for power and getting caught trying to take control of something.

> Shuren is one of the strongest sinners in hell, with his power being on par with the shinigami captains. Only Kokuto, another sinner, is stronger than he is.

> He runs a group of sinners who desire to escape the confines of Hell, and since the rest of them are ugly as sin, he’s the prettiest one of them all. (I kid you not; his subordinates are fugly.)

> He is confident, flamboyant, arrogant, sadistic, cruel. Everyone is but a tool to get him where he wants to be and nothing more.

> Shuren’s powers are fire based, and he can create anything from projectiles or clones from the fire he materializes.

> He has an intense hatred for Kokuto, who screwed him over more times than he can count.

> Since he is a massive prick and overall asshole, I can’t see him getting along with other muses. Even fellow villain muses. At best he would work to deceive the other before ultimately using them for his own means. He’s that much of an asshole.
