with the hiatus and the discourse and the annoying fans it becomes so easy to lose sight of the simple fact that buck and tommy are incredibly fun to watch onscreen together
#like they're so cute! they have great chemistry! i'm not lying when i say i like bucktommy even though i find a lot of their fans annoying!#i think what i'm realizing is i like bucktommy in canon but i don't like them in fandom?#like they are such a fun relationship to watch on tv but i don't want to read fic or hcs about them the way i do with buck and eddie#i'm having fun with them where they are but i'm not *rooting* for them. and that doesn't have to be a bad thing!#i've said it before but the number one problem with most of buck and eddie's past love interests was that they were boring#(except abby and taylor my beloveds. and shannon but i don't count her bc she and eddie weren't really a love story they were a tragedy)#'fun and enjoyable to watch' is really a decent bar to clear considering this show's track record with love interests#911 abc#911 lb
