I know it's usually played for laughs how Anya can't reveal her powers or Loid and Yor will abandon her in increasingly ridiculous ways, but like, what does it say that her fear of abandonment is so deep that even those she thinks of as her parents (and she absolutely does) she believes would leave her if they found out? She thinks their love is conditional on her being 'normal' (and to a lesser extent, to things like not messing up at school) despite all the evidence that she could and has 'failed' and Loid and Yor's main response was to try and help her not kick her out. Admittedly, some of that "help" was illegal but they're just particularly keen guardians
