I think a while ago you shared something about a kiss prompt, and I meant to send one in but forgot 🙃 so could I request a Christmas/mistletoe kiss with our favorite Alpha, please? I know Halloween’s closer, but I’m hype for Christmas right now 😅
You are lucky, I cannot stand Halloween so Christmasis the next big celebration here :D
Until you came along, Jeremy had never celebratedChristmas. According to Malcom, Christmas was something dirty, something only humansdid. And they were better than humans. And would a young Jeremy want to puthimself on the same bar as these dirty humans? Of course not. Christmas wasconnected to fear for him. Until you changed it.
Your first Christmas together was one big mess. Jeremyhad not realized how much this simple holiday meant to you. You had boughtpresents, a tree, even baked cookies and other little treats at home for thePack to eat. During the Christmas dinner, Jeremy was quiet and somewhere elsewith his thoughts. The celebration ended soon after, because the spirit wasgone – or better said, had never been there. He was generally dismissive, thewords of his father still burnt into his soul.
You walked up to Jeremy, sitting down on the couchnext to him, “Couldn’t you…pretend to like it? For the sake of the others?”,you asked, a bit of flour around your nose and tears in your eyes.
Jeremy reached up, wiped the flour off your skin. “Iam so sorry darling.”
You stood up, shook your head, “Only say sorry if youreally are.”
Your second Christmas together, Jeremy had changed. Hehad read into literature about the human Christmas celebration, and prepared anice little evening for the pack. You were amazed by the change compared to theyear before, and how much thought he had put into it. Jeremy had googled your favouritecookies, tried to bake them as good as you did. But he had put effort into thecookies, so they tasted even better than usually.
The two of you stood in front of the tree, arms aroundeach other. Jeremy looked down to you, a smile on his lips.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, Alpha.”
Jeremy made you turn to him, taking your hands intohis.
“My dear, in the years we have been together, you haveshowed me what love is. You love me in my best and in my worst days.”, theAlpha started to talk, squeezing your hands every few words.
“You changed the way I look at life, you gave it a meaning.”
Slowly, Jeremy knelt down in front of you, revealing alittle box he had in his pocket.
“My darling, will you marry me?”, and showed you thering with a bright blue sapphire on top of it. The sapphire had the same colouras his eyes.
Of course you said yes, kneeling down and takingJeremy’s face in your hands. You felt his rough stubble under your soft skin, grinning from ear to ear.
“I love you!”, before pulling him into a kiss, both ofyou rolling on the floor, laughing and kissing, as if you were the only peoplealive.
Your third Christmas together, the two of you werealone. Jeremy had prepared a small dinner while you took care of the tree.Under the tree were a few presents, various sizes.
When it was time to open the presents, you let Jeremygo ahead. The puppy inside of him loved to play with the wrapping paper, andseeing him in such unconditional joy made your heart jump again and again. Youhad gotten him a TV for his room, so he did not always have to watch soccer inClay’s room. Various new vests, socks, and even a bow tie, because bow ties arecool.
But you had kept one present behind your back.
When Jeremy had finished opening his presents, youtook the last one from behind your back.
“What’s that?”, he asked, taking the little presentinto his hands. It was thin, and seemed more like a card.
“Open him.”, you told your husband, a smile on yourlips.
Jeremy gently opened the present, afraid because itwas so thin. He ended up with a card in his hands with “Congratulation” writtenacross. With a frown, he opened the card, reading what’s inside.
It took him a bit and a few re-reads to realize thatyou announced your pregnancy in this card.
Jeremy looked up, eyes wide in shock, “I’m going to bea dad?”
“Yes, you are!”
A bat of an eye later, Jeremy had picked you up,spinning you in his arms as he kissed you.
“You have made me the luckiest man alive!”, helaughed, holding you so tight you were barely able to breathe.
“I love you!”
“I love you too!”
Thank you for the request! And feel free to give me a coffee if you like what I wrote!
