Me when Bill has to spend a dozen or so chapters in a dumb little suit and he can't start experimenting with Lost and Found outfits until later
#Hayley Writes Triangulum#The whole point of him starting out in a little suit is to give off that sort of 'Oh I'm that big intimidating guy who nearly destroyed-#-the entire universe' feeling you'd usually get from other human versions of him#Even if he's stuck as a teenager; imagine Bipper 2.0 getting plopped on your front lawn and the first thing he does when he wakes up-#-is start cackling maniacally#And you knew EXACTLY who he was as a result#Even if he's a kid; that's still intimidating#...Until you clunk him over the head with a bat and knock him out (thank you Wendy)#But STILL!!#The suit is SYMBOLIC to a degree; in that Bill is still trying to be that intimidating figure#Also he needs it for an exhibit he's going to be a part of#It also acts as a double-edged sword; it's just another way he's trapped in a situation#But it's not until later when he can start experimenting with his own style and wear other clothes#And feel a bit more free as he also starts rediscovering himself#(And also being less of a dick hopefully)
