I'm always Extremely booked and busy in November, so I've never had the chance to do Nanowrimo, but I have a month clear between now and the start of next term, so I decided I'm going to try do it in July instead and write that gothic novel I was talking about.

Hit my goal of 1667 words today, and most of that is probably worthless fluff which will not be kept in later drafts, but at least it is getting me where I need to go.

#I have been trying to fill out the major plot points in my head in preparation #and I've got a lot done just need more idea of the finale and to actually flesh out the villain who is little more than a stick figure now #I am forcing myself to just produce and am doing very little research all of which is the antithesis of how I normally do this #I'm also working in chronological order instead of skipping around which SUCKS but at least means it's readable even if it's trash #1880s won the poll I did which was helpful so thank you all but not in the anticipated way bc I went 'well 1880s is definitely not Right'#it's going to either be early regency or 1840s and I'm not settling until I get farther along but I'm definitely leaning regency right now #ye olde werewolf gothique
