i think it's only now hit me that i've just watched alun wyn jones, justin tipuric and leigh halfpenny play international rugby for the last time. i knew that they were going but even seeing the montages of them before the match and hearing them say goodbye and watching them walk around the pitch with their kids... i think the sadness of it just hit me now. these were the players that were there when i first started watching rugby. the welsh players that made me want to carry on watching. the ones i hurt for when they got injured and it's the end of an era seeing them bow out now. and it's been said so much in the run up to the match but they were true servants to the welsh jersey and i'm so glad i got to see them play one last time

WATCH: Joe Marler accused of ball tampering AGAIN!
05 Apr 2023
Harlequins prop Joe Marler has been accused of groping an opponent inappropriately again, with Swys de Bruin highlighting his actions on Stormers flanker Deon Fourie.
During Supersport’s Final Whistle show, former Lions and Springboks coach De Bruin highlighted Marler’s actions dubbing them ‘not so kosher’.
Fourie was visibly upset by the incident, but Marler escaped punishment on the day and has not been cited for his actions.
“It’s not so kosher what he’s doing there, and Deon Fourie doesn’t enjoy it,” commented De Bruin.
Not the first time
It is not the first time Marler has been involved in incidents of this nature.
In 2020, he was handed a 10-week suspension for grabbing Wales lock Alun Wyn Jones’ genitals during a Six Nations match.
“I was having a laugh, but it was wrong,” he said at the time.

Alun Wyn Jones discovered he had big health issue when he signed for Toulon as a joker, yet he still played with and for them??????? played at an amazing level with a cardiac problem???????? they're built different
also reminds me of vakatawa who has been forbidden to play in France because of a similar health issue, so he moved to the UK and still is not allowed to set foot on a french stadium because clubs in france dont wanna risk him d**** during a match.
so how was Jones allowed if he found out in Toulon during the medical visit????????

Baa Baas Wales Face to Barbarians in Cardiff on 4th November 2023 – kick-off 2.30pm.
The legitimacy of this weekend’s uncapped Wales vs Barbarians match has been discussed a lot. However, it will offer an opportunity to bid farewell to three legendary Wales rugby players at Principality Stadium. Baa Baas Wales Face to Barbarians in Cardiff on 4th November 2023 – kick-off 2.30pm.
On match day 23, there will be no fewer than six Fijians, so Welsh supporters may anticipate fireworks a day early. A lot of players from Fiji and Australia will also be desperate to get revenge on Jac Morgan’s team following their losses to Wales in the most recent World Cup in France.
How to watch Wales vs. Barbarians online for free
Wales v Barbarians will be shown live on S4C, and coverage starts at 2pm. What TV channel is Wales v Barbarians? What about live streaming?
Wales vs Baa Baas Rugby may be seen live on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer via BBC iPlayer. For this, a TV licence and a BBC account are required. The S4C Clic app allows for live streaming as well.
In their inaugural Pool C match in Bordeaux, the Fijian team was led by full back Ilaisa Droasese, hooker Tevita Ikanivere, wing Selestino Ravutaumada, and prop Peni Ravai. However, they were defeated by Wales. Api Ratuniyarawa, a lock for Bayonne who competed against Wales in the 2019 World Cup, is the last Fijian.
When the star-studded Barbarians play Wales at Principality Stadium on Saturday, November 4, several known faces will be on the team.
Barbarians v Wales Squad

Celebrating the legends
The game will also be a chance to celebrate the careers of Leigh Halfpenny, Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric.
After announcing they were quitting international rugby in May which ruled them out of the World Cup, Jones and Tipuric will line up for the Barbarians, while Halfpenny will play one last time for Wales after being part of Gatland’s squad in France.
“It is something we have spoken about this week, there is going to be some recognition of those players,” said Gatland.
“When I had that conversation with Justin and he retired from international rugby, we spoke about this game being an opportunity for him to be involved.
“He gets the chance with the Barbarians to recognise his contribution, and Alun Wyn and Leigh.
“They get that chance to call time on their career, that is their choice and I fully respect that and back them. That is their choice, other people have coaches make that decision.
“Hopefully it is a good occasion for those three players.”
