God, WTCs 1 and 2 were so beautiful, though. I hate that these incredibly gorgeous buildings are drenched in the tragedy they are (though 9/11 in itself is a very interesting event to research and learn about) because they are just kind of gorgeous buildings but I don't feel like I can post about them without, like, either making people think I'm doing a bit, or like, evoking 9/11 imagery unwanted which is like, you know, I'd prefer not to do either of those things. I just like these buildings aesthetically and structurally.
#don't reblog this one.#as someone I don't like much would've put it ; “holy yap”#Anyway#this is just a rephrasing of an older draft#perhaps worse off for it unfortunately#And yet#I feel like I need to post something about it#I'm like#I wouldn't say I'm “autistic” about 9/11#but like#I am interested in the events of 9/11 in a way that is sort of autistic#Because it is like a hyperfixation#As much as I hate to admit it that is what it is#And like#I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Especially considering the amount of information available#It's easy to learn about and easy to latch onto in a curious way#And I'm already into building collapses and structural integrity problems and architecture#But like#AITA for being interested in a historical event (not a bit)
