VeronaHills, Round Seven: Hart
Goldie disembarked the bus and unfolded her pop quiz paper. The fierce red 'D' still remained.
Even in a pokey village classroom in the middle of nowhere, Goldie still found chemistry completely unfathomable. Mr O'Mackey and Mr Weiss had high expectations of these young country bumpkins - although Goldie supposed she was one of them now, too. How were her big brother and sister so chill about being here? Oh, who was she kidding: new people for them to sleep with. That was literally it. Dad was the same.
Every word, feeling and vibe spilled onto Goldie's diary pages. She drew hearts around a doodle of Sassy, the elderly cat they adopted. She giggled to herself as she recounted the time Sassy had apparently interrupted dad's rendezvous with a lover; slowly, she was feeling less bitter as her brain emptied out its whirling contents.
An acrid smell caught Goldie unawares and she turned from the kitchen table to see the pasta she was boiling all aflame. The deeper she dove into her diary, the more the water had burned away.
Mama would never have burned spaghetti.

So, yeah. Forget about Leod. Old ladies in love :]
While Catherine and Betty’s relationship is flourishing, Jacob’s is not. After inviting Sandra over to hang out (she thought it was going to be proper date), he sat his ass down on the couch and basically ignored her in favour of SSX. You can see just how unimpressed she was with that.
After seeing off a visibly cold and irritated Sandra, Jacob didn’t spend too much time thinking of what her issue was. In fact, he spent very little and immediately went to go feed the fish in the koi pond Catherine had put in the backyard.

Betty Goldstein: I'll call Jacob, see if he can help. Or should I text?
Catherine Viejo: Calls bother him for some reason.
Betty Goldstein: Yeah. I think I'll text.
Catherine Viejo: Good call.
Betty Goldstein: What sounds more casual? "Dear Jacob" or "Greetings Jacob"?
Catherine Viejo: [thinking] ...go with "Greetings."

Alternative, Season 2 Episode 10: "Farmer's Life"
River Blossom Hills
At the Thaaroth Family House, a small gathering was taking place between some family friends: Catherine Viejo and the Kauffmann family.
Jonathan: What a joy it makes me to return from Apallosa Plains with my children! I really missed Riverblossom Hills a lot.
Catherine: And you can't even imagine everything that has happened in these years Jonathan!
Ryan: I'll be back guys, I'll go make dinner!
Irene, Harry, James and Steve were talking about a bit of everything.
James: And what's interesting here Irene?
Irene: I would be lying if I said that there are many things to do around here, the only interesting thing is the skating rink and the garden competitions.
Harry: I've noticed that there's a Farmer named Leod around here who seems to be setting up a meeting right now or something, shall we go?
James: I'll go ask dad's permission
Later, the four boys in the company of Jonathan and Ryan went to Leod and Betty Mcgreggor's farm, where, indeed, a meeting of the town's gardening group was taking place.
Leod (A little confused): Good evening, how can I help you?
Jonathan: Good evening Mr. Mcgreggor, we have come to the gardening group meeting!
Leod: Oh sure, you can come in!
While everyone was going to the house, Leod saw Irene Thaaroth, who seemed a bit cute to him, she was too interesting and great, from time to time he used to spend time with her at the skating rink in town.
Leod: Hey Ivy!
Irene: What else Leod? How's everything going here hehe?
Leod: There's a rather boring meeting in there, why or better we go to the barn and help me with some things?
Irene: Sure!
The two kept talking about various unimportant things like friendships, anecdotes from Irene's institute and Leod's farm.
Leod: We're done! Thank you very much Ivy!
Irene: Damn Leod! If you need my help just call me haha!
Leod (while he caressed the girl a bit): I honestly love hanging out with you.
Irene: I also like spending time with you Leod, although I think it's already getting late

VeronaHills, Round Seven: Roseland
Of all the treasures Alex had laid her eyes on, she was most grateful to have found a lucky Penny for Cyd.
Even if long-term romance wasn't really her cup of tea, she could already tell her friends were making a good brew together. (Yes, friends plural - Penny was so darn easy to talk to for someone who had grown up in a forest!). Alex even had the pleasure of being a confidant as Cyd and Penny each privately shared their desire to marry the other.
Such secrets were as valuable as jewels worn by silver Goldstein heiresses on yachts. In this case, Alex wasn't going to throw anyone overboard. Cyd and Penny's monogamous interests opened up Catherine's availability to Alex for wooing: exactly her cup of coffee.

Knowing that they won’t live forever and that they want to be together, Catherine pops the question after they both return from work. Very fast? Sure, but considering they’ll be gravestones soon I think it’s fine lol.
With the happy couple celebrating and Jacob somewhere, Andrew looked at the stars outside and contemplated his loneliness.
