I've always had a very do-it-yourself upbringing. We had staff but they were more like family than hired help. God, I don't even want to think about it. Some of these ornaments are hundreds of years old. Money couldn't replace them even if I was willing to accept it. I'll take that contact number all the same. I just need to get the trees, garlands, wreaths, and the like up. I can do the ornaments myself.
I wasn't aware how revolutionary that idea was. So happy to be a trailblazer for the handyman community.
If they break my things then they buy my things. They don't want to buy my things as they're expensive. I find that makes them more trustworthy.

If I were you, I would document all the times it happens, and demand your money back if it keeps being a problem. Document their failure to support you, too. Put it down as insubordination, that'll really hit them where it hurts. One does not need to be a bad ass civil disobedience super power to have hacking skills. I learned how to change my wifi password simply by using 'the youtube'. I suggest you do the same with your little problem.
That's because people are fools and confirmation bias is a real thing. People go looking for trouble around here, and they manage to find it. Oh wait, it's a bird leg? I assumed it was a human leg. This... actually makes way more sense. All it tells me is that dinosaurs were real and that massive rain storm washed up a fossil. Nothing more, nothing less. Stealing food is a crime, so you're right. It's too bad you've been having camera malfunctions. Suspicion, sure. Delusion? Never.
Right? I threatened legal action for the extortion and they sent a tech out but they still couldn't find any problems, of course. [...] Who do you think I am, Anonymous?
Look, what you need to understand is nefarious is exactly where people's minds go around here. There's a lot that goes on, right? I mean, there's a giant bird leg in the middle of town if that tells you anything and if it doesn't just look at how many people go missing. Not to mention the weirdos that were stealing my Oreos. That might not be nefarious but its a crime in my book. My point is, there's reason for suspicion sometimes.

It would be like a company to hide valuable information. They probably want more money from you. Don't give it to them. The best course of action would probably be to find a way to hack into the system and fix it yourself. Do you have any computer skills?
I'm beginning to become more concerned about the members of this town, new acquaintance. More concerned than I already was. Do you know how many people assumed I intended harm with these booby traps? No, my intention was shame, or humiliation. Should I have made myself more clear?
I would recommend the ones I got for my property but they keep 'going down' at the most random times. The company keeps saying there's nothing wrong but I think they're hiding something.
I am now the acquaintance. Tell me everything you learn about these legal booby traps.

Let me get this straight you pay to have your decorations put up? And you trust these people not to break any of them? I had never even thought about anything like that.
Hmmm, no sorry, I hire people for that. I'll gladly give you the number of the guy who did my house. He was pretty professional if not a little dense.
