Some fun facts about orchard(cult) au:

after the start of the cult branch goes by Adonis and only close friends known his real name

Viva and clay are engaged. They’ve been engaged dubc they were kids it just wasn’t official

Poppy’s existence was hidden from the tribe.

The flowers that branch discovers have different affects on creatures for example trolls who consume them lose their voice, critters become obedient to whoever feeds them the flowers, and if a Bergen smells them they’ll go into a deep sleep

Branch used to hate the color pink, reminds him of Floyd and it’s pretty triggering for him but since poppy came along he’s been really tolerant of it

Cooper is in the cult and tbh he’s just happy to be there

Branch finds the flowers when he’s 8 and forms the cult when he’s 12 :D

Bruce: *looks at Clay* I've got to tell you something that it's been in my chest since a few days ago, bro. I know you won't mind when I tell you... Clay: *begs* Go on. Tell me anything. Tell me what Bruce: I ATE YOUR MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM!!! Clay: *gets upset* WHAT!?! MY PERSONAL ICE CREAM!?! Bruce: It was so good... Clay: *gets even more upset* Oh, no! Bruce: ....that I ended up eating the whole pint of it! Clay: *screams* The horror! Bruce: I'm sorry! Clay: YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!! *wrestles Bruce* Bruce: *wrestles him back* I'M SORRY!! I'LL BUY YOU A NEW ONE! Clay: OH, YOU WILL ALRIGHT, PLUS TAX, WHICH YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE THE AMOUNT FOR IT! Bruce: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

My favorite thing is how lowkey uncomfortable Branch's brothers look when they find out Branch highkey replaced them with a new band/found family after they left LOLOL

JD and Clay being quick to crack incredibly forced jokes to cover up the awkwardness of the situation ooo And you KNOW the Kismet trolls probably think so fucking lowly of all of them too if Branch confided in them over everything that happened throughout the years rrrrr I think the brothers would definitely take personal issue with particular members too uh ohh the girls are fightingg

honestly it is a little crazy to me that Branch gets little to no apology from his brothers. Clay has his little apology at the end but in my opinion, it was nowhere near enough. like none of them acknowledge what Branch said before storming out at ALL?? at least not that i remember, and that’s wild idk
