Shitty ideas someone else has probably thought of volume one

Ok so I was listening to the duel and this occurred to me.

Are cersei and jaime based on Hélène and anatole kuragin? Someone else has probably said this but I see it.

Hélène and anatole are two characters from war and peace. They're siblings who were rumoured to have fucked. Hélène is married to a man for his money but she refuses to sleep with him/carry his children.

And like, in the books it said that jaime and cersei got found out by their mother who moved their rooms to opposite ends of the castle. Hélène and anatole were separated as kids for (allegedly) the same reason

Also Hélène has an affair with dolokhov and cersei has affairs with men other than jaime of very questionable character (euron par example). Dolokhov is a weirdly likable asshole so that tracks

It's not a perfect mirror because Anatole is an irredeemable bastard man and jaime does havs one braincell (it's briennes and he's only able to use it when he's near her)

And while Robert and Pierre (Hélènes husband) are both powerful/rich men in a loveless marriage they aren't at all similar (Robert is a thot and Pierre is emphatically not). But even though Robert and Pierre aren't similar their relationship to their wives is

But anatole is a soldier and so is jaime in a sense. Which is super weak parallel wise but I felt the need to include it

This isn't a particularly ground breaking thing but I can't find anything about it online (probably because it's way off) and I just felt the need to get it down somewhere
