Maimaimaigoen- Character Page Translations (1/3)

(I’ll just be putting the character art and then the translated stuff because I can’t edit.

Defaulting to they/them for characters until I see their genders specified. It makes things simpler because going by appearance is something I prefer not to do and it leads to confusion with characters like Yu [apparently Yuu/Yu is considered a girl’s name, but they don’t exactly “look like a girl”] or Shinta [Shinta is just all over the place. They talk masculinely, are voiced by Hatsune Miku in the song Carnival Happy, and their name is gender neutral to my knowledge.

SHINTA

“I’m a hero! No need to panic!!”

Cheerful and energetic, they rush right into things without caution. They stand out among the rest of the kindergarteners. Despite appointing whoever they see fit as a member of the heroes’ squad, they view their comrades as lackeys. At the heart, however, they’re a kind and docile kid, and deep down, they're just a timid little coward.

HIKARU

“Quit your crying, I’m doing my best”

Feeling responsible for the others, she is a stable person who unifies the kindergarteners. She tends to look after the others, and acts as the cool big sis for the whole team. She’s kind yet stern to the rest of the kids, but shows nothing but a kind face to her childhood friend Maria.

DAIGORO

“Shouldn’t it be lunch time by now? Mx. Yu, what time is it??”

A gluttonous little ball of energy who tends to lift the mood of the group. They’re a friendly kid who greets others with a smile. Their love of physical activity leads to them getting hungry very quickly. They love their family and, in truth, miss them a whole lot.

KANATA

“I always tell the truth. Right, Hinata?”

A mischievous child who loves to annoy people. An elusive character who does things at their own pace. Always carrying around their plushie Hinata, whom they speak for.

Born September 9th

HAYATE

“These kids are just trying to trick me. I’ll keep my cool and clear it.”

A lone wolf, too cool to interact with the other kindergarteners. They have a cold demeanor, but excellent perception, and can spot trouble from a mile away. They deal with everything with the skill they’d use for a video game.

Born October 20th

ZOYA

“I don’t like this amusement park, it’s like a sugar-coated borscht.”

Seldom speaks, mysterious. Carefully observes the people and events going on around them, and, while it is difficult to understand their small facial expressions and unique ways of expressing things, rest assured there’s a lot going on at the heart of it all.
