Hello Neighbor AU idea An AU where everything is the same but nothing bad ever happened to the Petersons, the whole family is just incredibly socially awkward and the local neighborhood kids keep catching them out of context.

Diane? Struggling with heavy agoraphobia and social anxiety so she never goes out, her husband's helping her out though and some select friends are taking her out of the house for lunch from time to time. Theo? Struggles to talk around people and has staring issues, so he comes off as creepy. He is also particular about how he does things. (He MUST do his pushups on the lawn. Or else. Or else what? He doesn't know.) Aaron? Emotional issues (stemming from distance from his mother I'd think) that lead to frequent tantrums despite his age, but he finds comfort in the basement. Mya? Decided to be temporarily homeschooled along with Aaron while he's learning coping mechanisms so he isn't lonely (because she's sweet like that.)

The inventor's club just completely misinterprets their situation. Especially Nicky, whose best friend is pushing him away. (So. Sort've how they act in normal HN/hj)

Quentin probably figures out real fast the family's fine (After scaring the hell out of Diane peeking in) and helps get them groceries as sorry (they invite him to dinner sometimes maybe).
