Me: Okay Varian may have become a villain but it was out of desperation to save his dad and really his actions weren’t THAT terrible

Me, after rewatching Secret of the Sun Drop and seeing Varian alchemically alter his raccoon, infiltrate the castle with an automaton, indirectly injure the guards, kidnap Arianna, use Rapunzel’s hair as a drill, almost squeeze the life out of Cass, and generally wreck havoc:
