Something I'm thinking about in regards to goncharov is that like
If it was ever really made. Like an actual real film.
Would it be even half as inspiring as the theoretical gonchorav that we all hold in our hearts

The divergent character arcs really went over my head the first watch but I love#The subversive approach to the mafia alongside whatever Gonchorav and Andrey had going on#Anyone remember the suit he was in during the market scene. Like. That's. The subtext. The#I never noticed it before but there were so many parallels between Andrey/Gonchorav and Katya/Sofia#Not even just in a romantic sense but like. In the way that their interactions examine the routes one takes to avoid fate at all costs#And how in that desperation one can inadvertently destroy everything and everyone around them#And the fallout from that and how and if anything can be done to salvage what's been lost#There's so much going on in gonchorav. The layers the layers .#Yes it was girl power when Katya tried to shoot Gonchorav no I am not explaining#(I don't have the confidence to actually make gonchorav posts so take my tags.
