got feedback on a programming assignment that was ostensibly supposed to be a buzzfeed-esque personality quiz saying that the grader got "frustrated" with the input validation mechanic forcing you to pick specific answers before it let you progress.

meanwhile, me, feral writer let loose in a coding class, kicking my feet and twirling my hair like "thank you, that's how I designed it :3"

#to be clear I got full marks for the assignment lmfao and he did recognize that this was on purpose #I also had to get through the full subsequent module to make that mechanic work the way I wanted it to so 😌#I could've done it with pure data validation instead of a while loop but only the loop let me count each additional response #this was an utterly unnecessary part of the assignment in terms of requirements I literally just wanted it to be annoying #and it worked! love getting feedback that I have elicited the intended emotional response lmao
