Saw a CRNA tiktok and remembered that I initially went into nursing to become one but I fell in love with my bedside job but I also had a lot of fun trying to intubate a mannequin during one of my sims so now I'm conflicted

#crna salary would be nice #I feel like not being bedside would kill me though #idk if I would love transfering to icu either #I struggle so much when my patients are hard of hearing or catatonic or too disoriented to talk #I couldn't imagine all of them being intubated and hanging on by a thread #I still make conversation even if I end up talking to myself #but at this point I can't imagine putting people to sleep on purpose #or going back to school #nursing is so diverse at one point I wanted to go into labor and deliver and then become a midwife #my capricorn rising loves the opportunities to climb up and up #I've even thought of teaching or aesthetics
