Just watched the barbie movie was hype, cried, love allen, love weird barbie, loved the kens with their whole macho cowboy vibe after the patriarchy, depression barbie ad was dope, soundtrack with the disco violins reoccurring was a mood lifter whenever I heard it, ryan gosling ken was simultaneously sad, infuriating, hilarious and hype all at once, the patriarchy being talked about as an invasive species, the barbies having to be decoded like like cult indoctrination was pretty funny, john cena mermaid was a welcome surprise, was wondering where the pet accessories were in the movie as well as the fairy barbies and princess barbies but other than that it was perfect so campy but existential.
