Is it possible to get brain damage (affectionate) (positive) from a book you haven't even read yet?! Read a tumblr post about the book on my dash, did some digging around on it, it seemed right up my alley, and now it's been eating my brain for the last 4 days. Ough.

#I ordered the book but it's like. 12 days shipping so I didn't get to read it yet #I'm trying not to get too overhyped about this bc. the more hyped you are the likelier it becomes for you to get disappointed #but idk the wikipedia synopsis sounds promising so #brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr #I haven't felt this way about a new piece of media for..... idk ten years now?#it really is amazing what random things your brain latches onto #mmari rambles #anyway here's to hoping that the book does justice to the scenarios I'm hallucinating in my head #based on the scant summary and the tumblr analysis post I read #cheers #the book's called #mexican gothic #by #silvia moreno-garcia
