My mom has Geckos and feeds them crickets.
One of the crickets played dead for 2 days and then escaped when my mom went to take it out of the enclosure.
I said that fighting spirit should mean it's spared, and my mom said I could do that if I'm the one to find it
...... Guess who just made a makeshift tiny enclosure for a single cricket out of a Tupperware and some cling film
#I hope these things only live for a few wks max and I didn't just sign up for yrs of caring for a single cricket#I put in some crumpled up news paper to hide#A wet paper towel for hydration#And a piece of cucumber broccoli and apple so it can snack#Now we see if it survives the trauma of being recaptured and a bit shaken around
