Song referenced in the 2nd picture: Character song for Okita Sōji “Destroying Darkness”

A few days after I finished Sōji’s route in EB, I listened to this song and thought about how well it suited his bittersweet happy ending. However, I did not ponder on it that much because Sōji’s mortality/death gives me anxieties (i.e. fears of loss).

Then, I read this summary from a more recent Hakuōki game (Tsukikage no Shō) and found out that the creators had focused EVEN MORE on Sōji’s mortality. That’s why I’m not so eager to play the game... (I also don’t have a Switch nor do I want to...)

But with that, “Love Goes On And On” fits Sōji’s route even more, so I thought I’d do these pic series...
