(UPDATED WITH MORE PICTURES...SLIGHTLY 'NSFW' ON ACCOUNT OF THE PHOTOS OF MINI FANTASY PEENS)
There is a Spirit Halloween store open in my city, and last Monday after work, I went there and spent $150 on what is essentially...bedroom decor ๐
Thanks to my recent purchase of a digital camera (it may be basic, but at least it can take much higher quality photos than one that's in my Nintendo 3DS), I can finally share some pictures of what my 'gradually evolving slasher shrine' of a bedroom looks like.
Well and truly, a work in progress.
This is what I bought last Monday. They had quite a large selection of fleece throw blankets at a REALLY decent price, but since I hardly have any Ghostface representation, this was the one I went with.
(This photo was taken in the living room, which is directly above my bedroom...)
Hands! These are going on the front hall table. Yes...they're large enough to cup a pair of boobs comfortably...
This is the view from by bedroom 'doorway' (my room is in one half of the basement, so I have a curtains separating it from the laundry room that's in the other half)
It's hard to see from the picture, but I picked out and painted the drywall a beautiful dark true grey, and I chose a pale cream for the bare concrete wall below it.
(Grey, cream and black...classy as fuck!)
All the blankets and sheets on my bed, and I mean all of them, are black, and so are the bookshelves and picture frames. Even the curtains hiding the small window well window are dark grey and black.
Colour coordination FTW!
These are some fine art prints I bought off Etsy a few years ago, and I can easily admit that they're one of the best purchases I have ever made.
I have the full collection - Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface (depending on who I'm in the mood for, it can represent either Billy & Stu, Danny Johnson OR Mickey Altieri), and Leatherface (Thomas Hewitt all the way)
Bare corner? Accessorize with skulls!
Books, books and, yes, more books! (and posters...which reminds me, I have more poster frames, which means I can buy more posters...)
Henry!
Some, uhhhhh...'light bedtime reading'
The other corner of my room, showing off my collection of Spirit Halloween 'artwork'...
My bedside table, featuring my 15+ year old Sony CD player, and Ghost CDs. Yes, I will get into bed and listen to a full album before I go to sleep. So fucking comforting...and gold Ikea table lamp FTW.
My dresser...and more skulls...do you sense a theme here? Also, two of them are REAL. On the left is a skunk skull, and the one on the right is an articulated badger skull! Lester would be proud...
And, if you look up, EVIL BAT CARVING...
Street signs!
Bonus Ghost robe blanket...it's big enough to cover the whole couch!
You should always surround yourself with things that make you happy...and surrounding myself with all of this does indeed make me very happy.
@enigma-selfships - MY 'LOST BOYS' POSTER CAME IN THE MAIL!!!
I just had to get the poster with all four of them...David, Paul, Dwayne and Marko. No vamp left behind!
Ummmmm...yeah. For the sheer unadulterated joy of it, here's a close-up of two actual skulls I have on my bedside table. Please excuse the mini fantasy peen...I had nothing else on hand with which to prop the badger skull open with...the other one is a skunk skull...
AND...because I *can*...PEENS!
Apparently, I have a hard to find graphic novel...I had no idea!
