HUI YEOL’S  PERSONALITY  &  BODY  LANGUAGE  CHANGES .

i said a couple days ago i wanted to tweak min’s character a little to make him fit his theme so if you want a rundown on what’s changed, it’s under the cut !

       ON THE SURFACE  hui yeol is lazy half-smiles  &  quiet mumbling. it’s one in the afternoon and he’s still rubbing the sleep from his eyes. he’s drowsy  &  unmotivated, addicted to social media  &  various mobile time-wasters. he doesn’t make a lot of effort in social situations, instead voting to sit back  &  watch as if it were something of a telenovella with all the drama he adores. his schoolwork is often late, yet his passion shines in his photography. no effort is required when he holds his camera  &  he captures almost every memory within the shell of a polaroid.

      he is remarkably nervous, a stutter appearing in the softness of his tone from time-to-time, along with many sensory difficulties.  his obessive-compulsive disorder is a serious demon in his life, controlling many of the choices he makes  &  causes inner turmoil when it meets head on with his natural lethargy---  he’s lazy, but he can never leave something unfinished.

       IN HIS RAWEST FORM  min is mentally disturbed, unnurtered  &  highly emotional. he’s extremely sensitive to touch  &  noise,  also often fearful of the unknown. he takes various forms of panic, causing him to either shut down or explode, raw emotion flooding out within the banks of mucus  &  tears.  he does bad things,  &  CANNOT RECOGNISE FAULT IN HIS ACTIONS. this is something that makes him volatile, an apathetic child on the inside who cannot see what he has done wrong. stalking is a guilty habit, a horrible method  &  vile money-maker but he adores it -----   because its easy.  many people don’t realise just how much their appearance spills.

       WHEN IT ALL BOILS DOWN  he remembers his abusive family, the home that inspired the twitch of sweating palms  &  fear in wobbly limbs. it breaks him ;  rips him from his bones until there’s nothing left but anger  &  hate ----  too long neglected  &  too long lonely, he craves attention like he craves order. his life has slowly become a cycle of traumatic events  &  uncomfortable tears.  all he wants is someone to hold him without the burn.

a small thing about hui-yeol’s body  &  how it makes him feel.

min has never been confident in his shape or figure, especially after a rather harsh teenage growth spurt.  he’s rather small, & obviously stocky. he is always found wearing loose or baggy clothing to mask his figure  &  hide the slight bloat of his stomach. he’s very naturally curvy, thick thighs  &  a slightly pudgy belly from when he was young. min is extremely wary of who sees his figure  &  who knows of his body type---- which is based a lot on when his insecurities interact with his ocd, telling him that his body is not average, & is too different from others to fit in. another thing is his stretch marks, mainly from earlier-mentioned growth spurt. they coat his thighs  &  just above the thick of his rear. he often stares at them in the mirror,  &  considers hiding them with concealer when wearing shorts or croptops.

HAIR :  Short  &  layered, volume causes it to curl a little. Hair was naturally a chestnut brown but soon dyed black as sun spots began to appear in his roots.  Always cut by his own hands, doesn’t trust anyone else with something sharp near his skull. EYES :  Round + doe-eyed, always carrying an innocent tone   &  are small in size to make up for rounded space.   lashes curl out in fair length from underneath high monolid. FACE : Circular  &  soft, undefined for the exception of the smooth of his chin. The apples of his cheeks are high, the extra pudge in his features filling out on his cheeks  &  lips. Eyes are often pushed upwards when he smiles to save for extra space. LIPS : Both his top  &  bottom lip have an extremely rich size to them, cupids bow as small as can be as smile’s corner pushes upwards, bottom lip a gorgeous lily-pink against the stark of white teeth.  COMPLEXION : Olive  &  sun-kissed. BLEMISHES :  Cinnamon-shade freckles kissing his collarbones  &  crawling down his back, soon splaying over his thighs in a faded dust of colour. Q1 :   if  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?          

A1 :  I’m too lazy to think of a name but his movie would definitely be  thriller -  focusing on the stalker’s perspective of life  &  sparing attention to detail on different shots  &  transitions between the film’s view  &  the view through his lense.

Q2 :   what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?          

A2 : Something similar to the Professor Layton &  the Curious Village OST.

Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?        

A3 : Hui Yeol was an idea I had while high,  &  eventually blossomed into this hot mess.

A4 : His aesthetic !

A5 : Most likely his nerves, it stops him from doing a lot.

A6 :  We’re both gay as fuck, but also insecure. We share the same body type  &  a slight similarity in morals too.

hui-yeol is ditsy  &  of course incredibly clumsy, he’s often socially awkward  &  cannot talk himself out of situations. but this doesn’t mean he isn’t smart. hui-yeol has been stalking  &  selling information for years, so long that he has perfected his own method  &  courageously branched out into interacting with victims themselves. despite being so meek, he is incredibly cunning, dressing  &  presenting himself for various situations  &  scenarios to get the information paid for  &  often more.  he’s not inexperienced, yet he’s no professional.   often he’ll hide behind his own shy persona because he can’t show another side of him in fear of foiling his own plans.    adorably cute  &  definitely a little air-headed, but hui-yeol is of course someone to be wary of.
