"So, have you heard of a legend called the Fox of Calamity? Not many had back in my time, but perhaps things have changed in the last 500 years~"
There's a thoughtful pause introduced as he resists the next mouthwatering bite of dango. Initially his attention towards Neka, mentally tasting the moniker as his mind plunges off to the depth of his memory. Legends, dangerous history, the Kamisato Clan's history had shared much with him before and after his departure. Pinpricks of what nights spent alongside a campfire, to the indulgence of ancient scrolls that bordered to useless obscurity served as the formation in his mind.
Tilting the treat away from his lips, a clear indication that something lingered was made by the abrupt oh! from his lips. "Now that I'm digging back into my thoughts about it... From my knowledge, what was shared with me at the compound was sparse at best. An important detail was that from the having the knowledge, thus memory make certain connections thrive with this entity. ..In kind, there would be many individuals rooted heavily in family value awakening old aches." A life that's doomed to be mired in the miseries that sweeps across the bounty of time.
In a way, it wasn't too different at all from the penultimate curse many gods find themselves wired too. It's thanks to the history of Orobashi, to the unique circumstances surroundings Rex Lapis that the samurai was able to wire together his own brands of conjecture. Truly having a moment to see the world familiarized his refining perception.

"But if you ask me, if any details around this being truly hold weight? I can't help but find it sorrowful. Teyvat in particular has a unique relationship with such resentment."
"I imagine that'd be a different matter altogether for youkai though, huh?"
