I may OR MAY NOT be getting incredibly emotional watching a special on the tombs on saqqara.#like !!!! this was my jam even as a small tiny jelly bean baby child! and NOW they're still discovering NEW tombs#I'm fully grown! sitting here looking at first looks into these new tombs being uncovered!#idk man it's kinda blowing my fuckin mind like all the books I have/read on egypt through my life#and still they're finding new stuff! and it's on tv! in incredibly high def like little child me would be fuckin screaming in delight rn#and yes I DID have glow in the dark stars in high school and YES I was like haha like the tombs I've read abt my whole life#which THRILLED my mother let me tell you#I'm fucking crying over egypt programming hang on brb#erin explains it all
