Some things about my TMNT iteration (which i'm in the process of rewriting. My iteration my rules!)

1. Timothy being a transfem (in a nonbinary way) who reaches gender euphoria when she mutated into a slime creature. I have a design in mind that's honestly sick as hell... If only I had the energy to draw it all the time. (There would be hints to her transfemininity but wouldn't be explicitly stated until two seasons in)... I just think they're neat.

2. Raphael is the only straight, cisgender turtle of the siblings because I think it's funny. Mona was initially gonna be closer to 2012 in personality and appearance, but now I think it'd be cute if she was closer to 87's.

3. Splinter is sickly in this au and lives in a different location than the turtles. Leonardo visits him everyday, occasionally bringing her brothers along with her, and spends the rest of the next few hours taking care of him. Because of her role as caretaker and leader, Leonardo had to grow up pretty fast.

4. From youngest to oldest: Mikey (13), Donnie (14), Raph (17 nearly 18), Leo (18-19), April (19-20), Casey (21)

5. April's favorite turtle, without a doubt, is Donnie. If she had to rate them based on likability, it would be Donnie at the very top (with a halo on his head) and literally everybody else before Raph.

6. I'd consider all of them main characters, April is the character you follow the most during the entire iteration, because I love April O'Neil and want her to get more focus just by herself sometimes. (She's the gap between a tragedy and comedy!)

7. Saki's backstory is going to be reworked as well, but I can never get over my poor meow meow tragic villain who never really grew from his trauma. I like this guy a lot and want to write him with care, especially in regards to themes of mental illness and grief.

8. Leonardo is a raging lesbian. She gets all da ladies trust me. No I'm not just using Utena as inspiration wdym... I stand for my flag

9. To fit the title of this au, there's gonna be a lot more supernatural occurrences.

10. This iteration will probably not be taking place in modern times? I'm not too sure about this yet. I will think it over.

11. Timothy is the second human to have met and accepted the turtles!
