I'm on ep. 10 rn, and unless what he said to haeryung was actually about gicheol, I just don't think junmo ever cared for gicheol as friend. None of his actions or monologues indicate it.
#I think at least euijeong genuinely feels at least pity for gicheol but junmo…#i'm disappointed#Like insider and the Merciless have the undercover being genuinely fond of the criminal they looking into#But I think euijeong presence managed to avoid this which is very very interesting and I'm not mad about it because it's sound#But I did expect it to follow the#emotionally distressed good guy having his morals swayed by evil but disturbingly charming older man.#Formula#(well not necessarily older by age. Older within the ranks. Hanging some kind of seniority. You got it)#It's a nice watch by itself. My disappointment comes from the expectation of bromance.#It's very one sided and I'm feeling so sorry for gicheol#I think it's worse than mctna because Hwi was awful to seonho once he fully sided with bangwon but at least he wasn't insincere#And I'm convinced that Yohan and Hyunsoo were insanely heart broken over what seonoh and jaeho and I think both of them were ashamed too#Like there's a reason Kyungmin chose to kill himself with Jongseok and it wasn't just guilt..#ANYWAYS#the worst of evil#I'm just SAD over gicheol
