I AM LITERALLY SO EXCITED TO BE A RANGER HOLY SHIT
#I barely care what the pay is (its $21.20NZD an hour!! which is alright)#I'm just beyond ecstatic that I'm going to be able to protect the endemic and native wildlife and conserve important natural features#and clean up trails and make them more accessible for all and look after the native plants and pull up invasive weeds and bait traps#and feed takahe birds and clear blockages in the rivers to help the eels and restock the huts for any hikers and even clean the fucking loo#I want so badly to be knee deep in mud and shivering from icy rain and buffeted by biting wind I can't fucking wait holy shit#I've completely changed directions career wise#I was going to become an artist but the industry SUCKS and I don't want to turn my passion/hobby into a chore for capitalism#BUT BEING A RANGER??????
