I think the fundamental sin of apple is the same as the reason I can never express why they're so shit to apple users, which is that apple products are Toddler Computers, every single thing on apple products are made to be as easy and non confrontational to people who are tech illiterate as possible, which means that it is so incomprehensibly dumbed down that even the mildest competency with even windows or Samsung will make their products unusably basic and uncustomisable.

But don't worry! Because not only are they designed specifically to baby anyone who uses their computers, denying them any opportunity to become truly tech literate by hiding anything more complicated than the accessibility settings behind ten thousand layers of nonsense, they're also! Malicious!!

The Icloud backup is to me inherently evil, because explain to me in simple words why your CLOUD SERVICE doesn't allow you to delete the files off of you devices, in fact they link the storage together! So you are forever trapped with all the files you supposedly backed up! (that you only have one copy of between multiple devices because they're synchronized and therefore are not ACTUALLY backed up) And the only thing you can do about this? Buy more storage! Fuck you if you want to just put your files on your laptop from your phone, buy more storage loser! You don't understand tech enough to be able to tell that this is scummy! By design! Because we give you no opportunity to learn! So buy our storage! Fuck you!!

The reason apple users think apple is good is because apple is literally making them stupider, this is by design, you need to be tech illiterate to use apple.
