Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Destiel lose in the ao3 top ship bracket last year? There's already a precedent to them losing, why are the most unhinged Destiels up in arms now that they're losing against an anime wlw ship?

Well...I think I might have an answer...nah it can't be it, that would be too simple of an observation.
