I just watched Smooth Talk and all I can say is uhhhhhhhhh
#going from “I look into your eyes and all I see are trashy daydreams” to teenybopper fun#back to the sister saying “I don't remember that. You can be such a bitch” in response to Connie was really jarring#so much so that it made me laugh out loud#I've never read the original short story but I feel like Arnold was either a figment of Connie's imagination#or satan#or both. Idk. I think I'll watch it again this weekend
