I officially have a rough draft for Splintered Glass in its base form 😭🎉
I say base form bc in my head it would actually be a webcomic
#splintered glass#I forgot I needed it done for tomorrow (using a class project as an excuse to write about my guys)#so I have a doc that's actually Splintered Glass#and then I have the copies for class#only had time for Indago & Florea but they're the main characters anyway#I had a big brain moment where I figured out Indago's motivation for going to a thing could be Abelina so she's there too#also revamped Rosalind for banter purposes#I literally do not describe Indago or Rosalind a single time#Rosalind I'd say is acceptable bc ghost#Indago is bc he's the pov character#and I'm incapable of writing 3rd person without pulling 4th wall shenanigans with the narrator#so it's 1st person#it occurred to me halfway through writing that hey.. this project is a short story... not a novel cut into smaller chunks#and it made me rethink my priorities#9 pages when the max we can have is 10 (it ends on a cliffhanger)#another problem & also why I wanted it to be slice-of-life-esque#I cannot write endings for the life of me#incapable
