Watched Ultraman Rising! It's a beautifully animated movie, that's a great story about family. I enjoyed Ken's Growth through out it and Mina was fun. Emi is adorable and fun too. Ken's Dad is endearing too. It a wonderful story about family and heart and connecting. 馃槉馃槉
Granted I felt that the baseball parts were just there to fill a void, I wish we saw more about a balance between both, because we don't connect with his teammates or coach, it feels like winning the championship was hollow because we didn't connect to the team.
That's something in Ultraman that I love is that the Main character connects with his team. It would have been nicer to see that. I love the raising Emi part that was a lot of fun. Also, I felt we needed more communication with his father too. Also, love Ultraman Refs throughout
I totally want more, I want to see the Land of Light animated in this style. I totally need it.

I finished UltraSeven! It's such a fantastic series. It has certain elements that are close to Doctor Who and Star Trek, with some really out there Sci-fi episodes that get you thinking or are next level. The Ultra Guard is amazing, Dan is much nicer here than in Ultraman Leo lol. He is kind, courageous, and awesome. I love Anne, Furuhashi, Amagi, Soga, and the Captain a lot, you can feel a lot of the modern shows harken back to how this team feels. I see a lot of Kaiju were taken from this series and used again, in stuff like Geed and Blazar. I love Windam, Miclas, and Agira that were the Capsule Monsters, a fun little thing to change up the battles.
Overall, this is such a fun series and understand why it is beloved. A few slow episodes, but the great episodes are out of this world amazing.
TL:DR UltraSeven is PEAK! 馃槉馃槉

Ultraman Leo, Episode 23 was weird and wacky. The Coro alien was fun, and Ultraman Leo boxing a Kaiju was wonderful. I'm glad we're getting crazy episodes like this rather than the crazy training episodes from the beginning, mainly for Gen's actor's sake, lol.

Been watching Kaiketsu Zubat lately, and it is absolutely wonderful. Hiroshi Miyauchi shines as Hayakawa Ken. He's one of the best characters ever. I love this. =) =)

I started my Kamen Rider X Rewatch. I'm just finished episode 2 and damn; I forgot how deep they get with Keisuke off the back, you can see the pain he goes through struggling with not being human anymore. I love that he grows into accepting being a Kaizorg as the episode continues. It just shows how deep Jin Keisuke is and I can't wait to relive his adventures again. 馃槉馃槉
Okay I finished up to Episode 13 and Keisuke is such a deep character. He actually has imposter syndrome with the previous Kamen Riders and if he can live up to these people he doesn't even know. I love that through training and fighting G.O.D. he's grown more and more into the Kamen Rider we love. These Greek Mythology Kaijin are pretty wonderful and so is Apollo Geist; they are serious threats and it is crazy how Keisuke keeps winning when he is outnumbered; has a lot of grit and spirit. He feels like the Everyman type of Kamen Rider and makes him so relatable and awesome. I love his fights and the Ridol is still one of my favorite Kamen Rider Weapons ever.

I am continuing to love Ultraman Leo, love meeting Astra for the first time, (I Got his figuart because of the Ultra Key lol). Didn't get to learn much, but I enjoy how much conflict that Gen gets into my making his choices that are personal over better for more people. He's emotional and rash, but he's awesome. He makes up for his mistakes and that is one of my favorite parts of Gen/Leo

Ultraman Leo continues to be crazy, the Saucer creature arc has completely changed this show and it's been wild. There have been some horror themed episodes, some very character driven episodes, and overall heroic Gen/Leo goodness. Had a clam monster horror episode that I was not prepared for, a fantastic episode between Tooru and Gen dealing with a ghost girl and a mystical doll, then an episode with old friends of Gen and a Bird Monster that was a bitch lol. Also, the brothers' episode that Astra returned in was great to see the minor parallels between them, they had some great lines in it too; though it was weird that people didn't believe the younger brother that they were attacked by a monster, in a city that has been attacked by monsters. All that Ultraman Leo fun. Only a few more episodes left and I'll miss this show.

Ultraman Arc Episode 2 was better than the first to me, but maybe it's because it wasn't spoiled the fuck out of for me. I think I felt the same for Blazar. Anyways Yuma is definitely the hopeful protagonist I love, and YouPi is as delightful as I was hoping. Ishido is intriguing with how he's working differently than SKIP. I enjoy Ban he's fun, same with Rin. I enjoy seeing SKIP being different than a defense force. It keeps Ultraman fresh. The message about it's about Trust is great. I love Leodo, a unique Kaiju and that fight was a spectacle that is different than normal.

21 episodes into UltraSeven and some of the episodes are weak/boring at times. However, I do enjoy the cast and how it gets on the weird/wonderful level of Star Trek and Doctor Who. It does the Defense Team better than Leo does lol.
Personally, episode 21 of UltraSeven was weak, Dan barely was in it, UltraSeven barely fought it, and it barely used the Ultra Guard or TDF. Yeah actually I have more problems with this episode than UltraSeven.

UltraSeven episode 10 is so crazy Doctor Who like storytelling that is absolutely wild. I figured it was a fourth dimension Alien attack. It's fun to be back to this show and even more wild after Ultraman Leo.

Here are thoughts on Ultraman Leo:
I jumped into this series because I saw it was airing on YouTube for its anniversary and thought I could watch it as it airs, because I have an easier time watching stuff like that. I was also, in the middle of picking what series to watch next and watched a bunch of Ultraman and Kamen Rider movies and specials.
So, I watched the first episode and immediately resonated with Gen's character, he's just happy-go-lucky, courageous, and fighting past his trauma. The whole Sports center aspect was fun, and everything was just stuff I enjoyed seeing, so it was really difficult to just catch up with where YouTube had and just watch once a week, lol. So, I kept watching it among of my anime.
This show is like a bunch of different shows as it goes through the season. It starts with the Training Arc, then goes into the Hokkaido Arc, the Ultra Horror Arc, the Japanese Folklore Arc, then is more Ultra Lore, then is the Saucer Creature Arc to finish it.
This show is intense at so many times, in the beginning Gen fights the Kaiju, loses then has to train in some intense or over the top ways by UltraSeven, Dan Moroboshi. Especially the infamous being chased by a Jeep scene, lol.
I was shocked that characters like Tooru and Kaoru were gonna be main characters after their father gets killed in episode 3, thought they were just 1 off kids, like I've seen in other toku shows, but they're main characters, and that helped make the show better when using characters like that for stories.
MAC was probably the worst done defense unit I've seen in Ultraman, because you barely learn about any of these characters besides Dan and Gen, which is all you need actually, lol. Still, they had good support characters like Momoko, the previously mentioned kids, and some of the staff at the Sports Center that Gen worked at too.
It's a very awesome show, the action is great, Gen is one of my all-time favorite Ultras, the action is a lot of fun and there are some crazy episodes. The folklore episodes are intriguing how they merge the stories in with lore of Ultraman Leo. There were quite a few horror episodes that were good, and some disturbing, especially with that clam Saucer creature.
This show is absolutely brutal at times, from the most intense episode of can Ultraman Leo and Astra manage to reforge the Ultra Key and stop the Ultra Planet (as it was called back then) from crashing into the Earth, or the Saucer creature annihilating half the cast.
Ultraman Leo himself did a lot of cool things in battle, like making smoke pipes into Nunchaku, using his mantle, to multiple different techniques he learned in training.
Also, this show has some of the best Kaiju Designs in Ultraman and I love a lot of them here.
I loved Astra, even though he only comes in to help his brother at times, it's still nice; I know he gets way more in recent specials. Still, the little bits we see of him, I enjoyed because he goes out of his way to help out his brother. Would like to have seen him explored more, but the part with the Ultra Key was great with him. Also, Ultraman King is wonderful saving Leo or helping them when they need it, I love his design. Ultraman Jack's episode he returned in was absolutely amazing, one of my favorites of the show, and I want to watch Return of Ultraman now. Love seeing Sevenger too, he's best bot.
I just really loved Ultraman Leo/Gen Ootori a lot, he makes mistakes, but he doesn't let them keep him down and makes up for them. I think that is what I resonated the most with, never let your screw-ups stop you from being a hero. Also, a good support system helps.
One of my favorite Ultraman Series and I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Ultraman Leo episode 34 cooked so much my dudes. This is my first time seeing Ultraman Jack's host Gou and Ultraman Jack besides movies and specials. The Aura Gou has is amazing, this guy had incredible vibes and his mouth was covered for half the episode. He is dutiful, badass, wanted to help his brother, fought while hurt to save others. I need to watch the Return of Ultraman. Like I won an Ultra-Act Figure of Jack and connected with him from that, now I love him more. This episode was a full-course meal for me, because not only is Jack amazing; Sevenger is here, and I love all things Sevenger from Z; He was kicking ass too bad about the time limit but nice to see the Pok茅ball precursor here. Gen and Dan continue to be amazing here, and love how Gen is the Does the thing guy to Dan's Don't do the thing command. The Japanese Folklore series of episodes were good and intriguing to learn different stories, but this definitely brought back the hype for Ultraman Leo again. I feel so energized from this! I love it. Can't wait for more Ultraman Leo awesomeness!

I have finished episode 31 of Dekaranger! I wanted to talk about the series more.
The characters are a highlight in this show. Doggie is wonderful, he's one of the best Mentors around and feels the most like the Leader of the Dekarangers. Hell's Watchdog is a cool nickname and I love his sunglasses too. His fighting style is so cool!
Hoji is great, he reminds me of other characters I love like Raphael (TMNT) and Cyclops (X-Men). I love that Genius of Hard Work title and that he was stubborn enough to keep fighting that monster in that Fight Club episode. I love his composure, his cool demeanor, and his determination.
Umeko is totally fun, she is not talked about enough. She fiery, scrappy, and fun. Disguising herself as the Princess was great, and her being a negotiator. She can succeed with whatever she puts her mind too.
Sen is fun, I love his thinking pose and quirks. He has a good heart, and detective skills. Protecting the witch and the Android girl were great. Also, he has some fun lines and situations going on.
Jasmine I love her one liners, he ESPer abilities, and her general cool factor. Her focus episode recently was good with trying to find the prisoner's partner, but I might be forgetting her early stuff, but she's cool right now.
Ban is a fun ball of energy. I love his flashiness even though I think it literally brought the team down from the first episode. However, his spirit and can do attitude helped them solve lots of cases they wouldn't have been able to without him. He is full of spirit and I love that about him.
Tetsu I was mixed on in his first appearance, but he's been awesome since. I love his multiple different abilities with his brace, feels very Kamen Rider Super-1 coded. Also, he might be able to beat Sonic or The Flash if he can punch faster than light lol. He brings a unique flair to the team that helps balance them out more.
Swan is one of the best mentors, I love her and how she interacts with Doggie and the others. She is wise and intelligent and a lot of fun.
I love the Zords/Megazords the battles are more unique than some others and I'm glad the episodes are not formulaic with when they are.
I can't wait for more, I am enjoying this series a lot more than I thought I would.

Watching more of Ultraman Leo, and these pics are from Episode 19. The last few episodes have been horror themed and it's been an interesting change. I just love Ultraman Leo right now, Gen is such a relatable character to me, he makes mistakes, but is always making up for them, and he feels remorse/regret for them, he feels sad about it and bounces back from it because he has too. The cast is a lot of fun, and I am surprised how Tooru and Kaoru have been developing here. Moroboshi is always a delight and I'm glad they've lightened up on the hardcore training in the show; definitely looked hard on the actor. I can't wait to watch more, the Hokkaido series looks fun here.
