I've only seen one other person bring this up and that was at least a year ago, so what's YOUR headcanon for why theres tentacles in the icon for the centre of craftworld, even though vex doesn't have any canonically and afawk there's no concept art that explains it? post in the comments/reblogs

hi hello this was the hardest project ive done in a WHILE because of how extra careful i had to be w these mediums. tangent below

like i put down base colors with watercolor, then i cut some washi tape and put them over the cloths in the sky AND covered vex entirely, all that cutting took like 3-4 days bc i was so busy with other stuff and it had to be precise, then color with oil pastels which after a while made my fingertips feel like they’re peeling off, then peel off the washi tape as it then peels off the actual paper with the colors on it just to fuck with me! then go back and fix shit up and spend another 3 days cutting up the v’s or whatever they’re called surrounding the bastard, individually. add some finishing touches here n there for like an hour

and that concludes my horrible process that i had to go through for this thing

this all happened in the span of 2 weeks. granted i didn’t spend aaaaall my time on this bc i was busy with irl stuff but. i am so tired.
