First thing we learned about Mydei was his recklessness.

We saw him throw a Warrior Titankin into an Okheman building and Phainon went "dude, wtf" as soon as that fight started.

Pretty sure he could single-handedly level Okhema if he wanted to.

Yes, he wanted to be alone so he could cry. Probably. But also, it's easier to fight with all your might when there are no potential allied casualties.

Nikador's war cry triggers such fear into his enemies, it makes it that much harder for the weak-willed to approach the Titan, or even just a projection of them. As if their enemies were, I don't know, slowed?

I swear 3.0 drilled into my head from the start that only Mydei is able to relatively easily resist Nikador's war cry. Because he's so used to those emotions.

Yes, Mydei is in full control of himself. He decides when he goes into beast mode.

He decides.

No one can stop him, except himself. That's why he told Phainon about his weak spot. Because he knows what he's capable of, and that only death would be able to stop him.

In case he too, one day, becomes corrupted like Nikador.

And where is he, now?

He's alone. He has freed his people from the cycle of violence, and freed himself from the responsibilities of kinghood. Castrum Kremnos is practically indestructible. There are no allies with him, only the Black Tide's monsters. He doesn't have to make sure he doesn't destroy something or kill someone by accident. He can use all of his godly power to be the frontline against the Black Tide all by himself. He can use the intent to kill to save as much time as possible for Okhema, for Amphoreus, for the other Chrysos Heirs.

He's home. And he's free to fight to his heart's content.

TL;DR

Why auto-battle? Mydei has perfect self-control, doesn't mean he can't let go and destroy everything in his way. It's only a matter of "does he want to". Nobody can stop him, except himself and literal death.

Why Imaginary? Nikador's war cry triggers a fight or flight response, which can stop his enemy in their tracks. Who has Nikador's Coreflame and powers now? Mydei.

What happens when you put the mightiest, fight-loving demigod available in a pretty hard to destroy place, surrounded by waves of monsters to kill, and with no other people around? Well, I don't think he'll be making them tea, will he.
