It seems that the requirement to be the Wyvern specter is to be Pandora's Simp

Saint Seiya is on Netflix and I started to watch all the anime again and that made me read the spin-off

Classic Saint Seiya:

Radamanthys in the classic is more rebellious, but he keeps thinking and watching Pandora even if he don't agree with the decisions she makes

When Rhadamanthys was at his break, he observes a painting of Pandora with her family. He even says her name with a certain nostalgia and he got mad at Zelos for interrupting his moment (Episode 125)

When Orpheus attacked with his lyre, Radamanthys was the only one who did not fall asleep, Radamanthys realizes this, and the only person he observed and cared about was Pandora. (Episode 132)

(In TLC they have a more symbiotic relationship and have a lot of scenes in the manga, but my favorites are: )

Everyone tells Radamanthys that he is Pandora's dog and he never denies it. He's more like "Yes, I am the loyal dog of Hades and Pandora"

New Saint Seiya Spin-off: Meiō Iden Dark Wing

Shoichiro is the protagonist of this Spin-off, although he has a certain physical resemblance to a younger Rhadamanthys, they are not the same character, but he is the new bearer of the Wyvern Surplice.

(The manga is very new, only has 6 chapters and the began is told from the point of view of the antagonists, where the previous actions of Athena are what are causing the destruction of the world and Hades must avoid that. So maybe Shoichiro and Radamanthys are related in some way, since characters from the classic manga come out like: Aioros who has memories of he in the classical dimension, although that Shoichiro and Radamanthys are related has not been said or confirmed, so until now Shoichiro is considered a completely new character)

Spoiler of the first chapter:

He dies trying to save Yoruhime Tsukishima the Pandora from this dimension. Before he dies he wants something to make him stronger and fierce to save Tsukishima and, just at that moment the image of a Wyvern appears.

He wakes up when he remembers that wants to protect his brother Sojiro, his friend Cattleya and Tsukishima aka Pandora

Tsukishima seems to be more important than his brother and his friend, I say this. Because his memory of Tsukishima is bigger, more focused, the environment in which he remembers her is softer, the way he says her name it was different (that's why her name was in a different speech bubble) and the desire to protect Sojiro or Cattleya didn't make him a Wyvern. What made him a Wyvern was his desire to protect Tsukishima.

When Shoichiro died to wake up as a specter, he begins to consider that he would like to live in the eliseo with Tsukishima forever. (it's quite romantic for me)

The bottom line is that I get the feeling that for the Wyverns, while serving Hades is most important to them, their second nature is to watch, protect, and die for Pandora.

Shinshu Ueda in 2020: I'd like to write another angsty twins, preferably in franchise known about it.

Ueda: Of course, sir. And I would like to admit I have respect for Teshirogi-san.

Kurumada: Of course you do, if you have a thing for twins angsty, dying, or actually dead all along, or corrupted, somewhere along those lines. Why you people remember that part of my works fondly?

Ueda: What can I say, sir, Teshirogi-san's twins are very.... twinly, to say the least. And I have experience in working about complex plot from my Persona days. Experience of working with twins are also from there, of course.

Kurumada: Fine, you're accepted, i'm in the mood for complex plot too

Ueda, when she get to write a StS spin off:

me :*blinking, narrowed eyes, remembering her track with Persona 1 manga and respect to Teshirogi, that there are LC ref in DW* OF COURSE SHE WILL WRITE A PAIR OF ANGSTY TWINS. Souichirou either will become evil or died all along isn't he? That he was form of Soujirou's denial over his death? ma'am this ain't silent hill shattered memories-oh wait, she did work with persona after all.
