Imo: Simon Ekpa funding criminals in Orsuihitukwa, ESN has no camp there – IPOB knocks Army, others
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday said criminals operating in the Orsuihitukwa, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, are funded and recruited by Finland-based self-styled Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa. IPOB explained that the criminals are not members of its Eastern Security Network, ESN, but infiltrators recruited and funded by Ekpa. Emma Powerful was reacting to a viral video of the Nigerian Joint Security Forces dancing at Eke Ubahi Eze market at Orsuihiteukwa, Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State. Describing their action as an “unfortunate dance of shame,” Powerful insisted that ESN has no camp in Orsuihiteukwa, adding that the militia arm of IPOB is not a terrorist organization. A statement by Powerful reads partly: “The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by the great prophet and liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu sees the dance of shame by the Nigeria Joint Security Forces at Eke Ubahi Eze market at Orsuihiteukwa in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State as making a caricature of the Nigeria Security institutions. ESN does not have any camps at Orsuihitukwa, and all ESN camps are intact. “And again, ESN is not a terrorist para-military but a group of self-defense, law-abiding volunteers that protect our communities from Islamic terrorists the Nigerian government does not wish to confront. “On Monday 4th March, 2024, a combined forces of Nigeria Army, Navy, Air Force, DSS, Civil Defence Corps and Police on a combat mission at Orsuihitukwa were seen dancing around the village market like boys scouts on a crusade in a viral video. The supposed Forces were seen dancing with a megaphone and wufa speaker like unprofessional men as they claim to have defeated and dislodged ESN snd IPOB from Orsuihitukwa The villagers were watching these men making caricatures of themselves in the market square unimpressed. “The Nigerian government and her murderous Security Forces can go to any length to blackmail IPOB and ESN. This latest dance of shame at the market square in Imo State by the Nigerian security forces shows they are madmen in the security apparatus of Nigeria and this show is among the cheapest blackmail and propaganda against IPOB and ESN. “Unfortunately for the Nigeria Security Forces, Ndigbo know that the criminals operating in the Orsuihitukwa are not ESN under IPOB but the infiltrators recruited, funded, sent by the Nigeria government through their Fulani double agent alamajiri boy in Finland. “The criminal camp leader called Butuzor (Temple) is their general commander for Simon Ekpa. There has been many leaked audios of their conversations all over social media. These criminals have not hidden their bitterness and anger against IPOB and IPOB leadership. Recently, these criminals have denounced IPOB and ESN. “In some of the gruesome pictures of some of the criminals that these shameless and murderous Security Forces eliminated showed that they were wearing the so-called Liberation Army regalias. Even the items and insignia recovered from the invaded camps were that of the Liberation Army under the fraudulent Biafra government in exile that Simon Ekpa was deceptively scamming ignorant and gullible people with.” Read the full article

I patented 'My Oga At The Top' slogan- Shem Obafaiye, Viral NSCDC Officer on Channels Interview of 2013
Viral officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Shem Obafaiye whose interview with Channels TV in 2013 brought about the popular phrase 'My Oga at the top,' said he patented the slogan after it went viral. Shem Obafaiye He said this during a recent interview on Channels TV's morning program Sunrise Daily where he recounted his experience when his interview on the same station went viral for the wrong reasons 10 years ago. Origin of 'oga at the top' slogan In 2014, during a Channels TV's morning program Sunrise Daily, Obafaiye, then the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps was interviewed on the need to know the correct website of the corps to avoid misleading job seekers. His response would later attract nationwide attention, leading to a popular phrase that is now used in daily conversations in pidgin English. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypHlNCNgGkM On the interview, Obafaiye was asked, "What is the website of the NSCDC?" And he responded, "I cannot categorically tell you one now." He was asked again, "Do you mean that NSCDC has multiple websites?" He responded, "We can't have multiple websites but I cannot tell you one now, and my Oga at the top say is another one and the one we are going to make use of will be made known by my Oga at the top." Many Nigerians considered his response inappropriate and it went viral. The phrase became very popular and is often used in pidgin English to designate anyone with higher authority in Nigeria till date. On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, ten years after the interview that went viral, Obafaiye Shem made a return to Channels TV's morning program, Sunrise Daily, but this time, in mufti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5zHWPogStU According to Obafaiye, he appeared on the program in mufti because he had retired from active duty. He also disclosed that his wife patented the "My Oga at the Top" slogan with Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, and added that he would demand for money from anyone who used it without an permission from him. He admitted that he had psychological traumas when the interview went viral. He also admitted that many years after, he watches and laughs over the 2013 interview. Shem Obafaiye Promoted The week before the return interview, Obafaiye was promoted and decorated as Deputy Commandant-General of the NSCDC. This promotion came after he had retired. By • Olalekan Fagbade JUST IN: DSS operatives clashe With NSCDC officers indide Hospital Operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) on Sunday clashed with men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at the Edo Specialist Hospital in Benin City over the alleged refusal of medical personnel at the hospital to attend to an indisposed SSS officer. The SSS operatives reportedly brought their colleague to the hospital after he slumped during a meeting in the office in Benin. But the medical officers at the hospital refused to respond to the SSS official, who was reportedly in need of an urgent medical attention. The refusal thereafter triggered a heavy confrontation between the SSS officers and the NSCDC operatives, during which several people sustained injuries. It, however, took the intervention of the police who were called from the Oba Market Police Station and the Chief Security Officer (CSO), at Government House to wade into the situation. Witnesses said they observed an unmarked white Hilux Van conveying the victims, wearing a jacket at the hospital premises. An official of the SSS anonymously said that they were in a meeting when the officer slumped and they rushed him to the Edo Specialist Hospital which is the closest to their office after checking his pulse at their clinic. “But the reception we got on arrival was poor. It was our people that had to bring our colleague down from the vehicle. When you go to the hospital, courtesy demands that you bring the patient down and attend to him or her, at least show commitment but right in the car, they said they cannot carry him and we have to carry him down ourselves,” the source said. Responding to the allegation, the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr David Odiko said the patient was promptly attended to by the doctor who was on duty and confirmed him dead at the time they brought him in but that the SSS personnel refused to accept it. “I was not in the hospital when the incident happened because I was in the court for a case, it was from there they called me and as at the time I came, they had left but I met policemen on the ground. “They brought him as an emergency, he was said to have slumped and the doctor on duty went to check and he said he met the guy lying on the seat of the car and that there was no breathing movement in the chest and abdomen which is the first you see before proceeding to check if there was still pulse and heartbeat which were also absent. Despite that, he still proceeded to do CPR but there was no response. “The diagnosis the doctor made was that he was brought in dead and they said they were not going to take that and they personally moved him into our facility and dropped him on the floor. I was told that another group of personnel moved, they actually injured the Civil Defence personnel that was on duty on her ,” he said.
