This ep kinda changed my whole idea of what this show is gonna be so yeah

First of all: I don't know if I'm starting to like the characters more or to dislike them more. I kinda feel like they lack personality and depth when compared to the og gg characters. I absolutely adore Audrey and Max and many of the others are growing on me, but I miss how entertained I was when watching the og. No one was boring, and even the villains were iconic (it took me a whole season to learn OTH Rachel's name bc she reminded me of Juliet).

I kinda like Zobie but they're kinda bland without the Julien drama? I'm not eager to watch them being a couple for two seasons+. I'm kinda excited to see all the relationships become a huge mess.

I hated JC on the pilot but she grows on me every episode. Still, she's too kind to be queen. I hope she becomes even better, especially after all that happened in this ep.

Also, JC and Max bonding???? JC and Audrey/O and Aki actually acting like friends?? Lunet night out??? Luna helping little Z??? We finally have characters interacting with someone other than the same 2-3 people!! I loved seeing actual friendships rather than just a group of people sharing the same table. It can still improve though, especially since Luna and Monet seem to not be an actual part of the group and Obie was basically cut out by everyone but Aki.

I love Lunet and they need more screentime.

Also, idk wth the parents were thinking letting a bunch of minors go to that play but ok

Fck the teachers for using one of them as a escape goat but now that other schools are in on this it'll spiral out of control and I'll love it

I really have a love-hate relationship with Kate Keller. As a teacher she seems good but as a person...

Now for Max/Audrey/Aki

I'm starting to think that scene from the 1x02 promo where the three of them are together is either a dream, not in the show or more towards the end of the season. It seems unlikely that it would happen soon, all things considered

Also, Audrey and Aki need to actually talk to each other. With Aki exploring his sexuality and Audrey cheating as a result of several factors, they need to take a break or the same issues will keep coming back. Surprisingly, I want them together (maybe with Max too), so I'm hoping that won't happen

Max's breakdown was really sad. He never seemed exactly stable (I mean, I don't think he was sober in a single scene in ep one) but he really reached the breaking point now. I don't know how I feel about Caparros taking him in, because he does need some guidance but I don't think it should come from a teacher he expressed interest in (that's inappropriate in several levels). I kinda don't know what's in his future now.

Not really from the episodes but Aki and Audrey possibly dating people similar to each other as seen in 1x06 bts pictures reminds me of the og's season 2 when Chuck and Blair found each other the "perfect date", two people who were really just another version of themselves.

luna really is just there for the one liners and contributes nothing to the show like I said and y’all jumped me she’s just background noise lol!

and Monet truly Blair daughter and Julien Serena daughter! Like the show so far its good the acting was actually better then expect and they are right audrey and aki are the worst actors on the show! Julien is so nice and good an this kid bitc* zoya just gonna backstab her

so aki Audrey and Max was just there for the sex drugs part of the show they literally contributed nothing luna was there for the tall mean girl who just exists for no reason and everyone else the show was about them we love to see it literally my 3/4 favs + zoya cool

I was told on Instagram today that Obie is a performative activist. ... WHERE? Just who is he performing for?? It’s not for his friends, they’re not like that; it’s not for social media, he doesn’t really use it; it’s most certainly not for his family, they are definitely not like that; and he didn’t become an activist when Zoya got there, so it’s not for her. Who would he be a performative activist for???

This is a rhetorical question because whatever anyone would reply with to say that he is being performative, I won’t buy it. Obie is not perfect; literally no one is, and he’s only, like, 16-years-old! I’m just tired of this fandom acting like he’s a shitty person or something when he’s not. When will the GG fandom focus on hating the characters who are actually shitty people for once?
