Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Shampoo Review
By Ananya,
Hello, haircare freaks! I am back with another individual review and that too from the current favourite brand of India – Patanjali! Patanjali by Baba Ramdev is gaining popularity day by day and is surely among those brands that are trusted and bought by most households. Patanjali products are now spreading far and wide and have crossed the boundaries of India due to the availability in online websites like Amazon and Nykaa. This brand has a number of products related hair and skin and the latest addition to hair care items is this Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera shampoo. Today’s review is all about this shampoo and though I am late in posting this review, it is better late than never! So scroll down!
What Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Shampoo claims:
Prevents hair fall, minimises split ends, removes dirt from hair and scalp. Removes dryness from hair and makes hair beautiful and healthy.
How to use this Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera shampoo:
Take 2-5 ml of product and massage on wet hair. Rinse off.
    Buy Here
Quantity:
200 ml
Shell life:
24 months
Ingredient list:
Aloe Vera
Hibiscus
Tulsi or Holy Basil
Bhrami
Reetha
Amla or Indian gooseberry
Bhringraj
Henna
Shikakai
Haldi
Giloy
Bakuchi
and other preservatives
  Packaging:
The Patanjali Aloe Vera shampoo comes in a transparent bottle with a green lid that closes tightly. This shampoo has no chances of spilling even when you are travelling and so is easy to carry around. All the information including a detailed ingredient list is mentioned at the back which is a pro for me. The transparent packaging helps to see the amount of product left which is another pro that I find in the packaging sector. Surely Patanjali has improved the packaging area.
      Texture:
Gel like and is soft. Easy to apply and spread on the hair.
Fragrance:
Strong Aloe Vera smell that can be a little issue for people with a sensitive nose. This smell is however, artificial.
Foaming capacity:
It lathers much when mixed with water and massaged.
Colour:
Green in colour.
What I feel about Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera shampoo:
Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera shampoo is a natural shampoo that has all natural ingredients. It makes my hair really clean and fresh without over drying it. The presence of Aloe Vera controls dandruff a little bit but not to a great extent. It doesn’t prevent hair fall, at least not for me! Split ends issue can’t be cured with a shampoo so no question arises here and as far the claim of making scalp nourished and healthy – it does that. Overall, for me, this is an average shampoo that does only what a shampoo is supposed to do – clean the hair. Patanjali Milk Protein Shampoo does a better job than this one in terms of everything. No high expectations should be made with this baby!
Recommendation:
I won’t really recommend this shampoo if you are looking for a particular solution to anything but if you just want a normal shampoo at a budget-friendly price, then this one can be a good choice!

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser Review
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Patanjali brand has been around for a while now and it has caught people’s attentions quickly due to all natural tag and reasonably priced products. I have also used a few products from Patanjali and few of those have a permanent place in my vanity while other few failed to impress me. Recently I picked up Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser recently in winters while browsing through Patanjali store’s aisle as it has aloe vera and it claims to treat dry hair and hairfall problem. I was looking for a mild shampoo and it sounded like one. Read on to know does it really do what it claims to do…

My Experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser:
Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser comes in a transparent bottle with olive green flip-open cap. Cap is sturdy and pretty tight to open. Products details, how to use, ingredient list etc is mentioned on bottle.
Tumblr media
Shampoo is olive green coloured gel which lathers extremely well which makes me skeptical about the surfactant base they are using as they have not mentioned it clearly. This has strong lemongrass and aloevera fragrance which lingers a while.
Tumblr media
I have normal scalp and normal hair which tends to get a bit dry in chilly weather. I always dilute shampoo in water before applying it on scalp. Shampoo washes off easily and hair and scalp do not feel dry while washing. It also removes oil effectively. After using it for a month twice a week I felt that it was drying out my hair and scalp and was making it itchy. I could definitely not skip conditioner with this. It has worsen Mr Husband’s dandruff situation and made his scalp super flaky and itchy but made cleaned his hair nicely 🙁 (He has dry scalp and oily hair).
Final Verdict: 3/5
Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser is a good choice for those who have greasy/oily scalp and hair but definitely not for those who have dry scalp or dry hair. This might be a good choice for hot humid weather but not advisable for winters at all. Also if you are looking for a mild shampoo which you can use every alternate day, this is not the right choice. It is affordable and easily available. I was annoyed with all natural claims yet no clear mention of which surfactant base they are using which is pretty strong. And no mention of which perfume(Sugandhit dravya) or base material they are using. I am disappointed with this.
So this is my experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser. Have you used it? share your thoughts in comments section below.
Till next time…take care…xoxo.

Which is best natural or ayurvedic hair oil in India
Sometimes people consider shampooing and conditioning the hair to be the best way around for hair cleansing. But most of the time they have the wrong notion. Hair oil is a necessity for all, to take good care of hair, and protect it from outside dirt and dust. Also, post shampooing and conditioning, the hair becomes frizzy, and this results in the hair damage and fall. Oiling helps in protecting hair by keeping them intact.
Adding to this, the inception of natural or Ayurvedic hair oils has been a boon for everyone. This resulted in the protection of hair with natural ingredients. This also strengthens the hair from its roots, making it inseparable. Similarly, some of the best authentic ayurvedic hair oils available in India are-
1.    Kesh Taila
This is the most generic, yet very powerful hair oil. This has been endorsed as all-natural hair oil, with all its ingredients to be derived from herbs and barks of different Ayurvedic trees. This is an herbal oil targeting all-around strength of the hair.
Kesh Taila is much-sought Ayurvedic hair oil, boosting the hair strength and protecting the scalp from other dust and allergens. This herbal oil nourishes the follicles, resulting in hair growth.
 2.    Almond Oil
Apart from its cleansing properties as the body cleanser, almond oil extracts are also very helpful in protecting the hair. It strengthens the hair to its roots, protects the scalps from dirt, and delivers an anti-oxidant property in it. This protects the hair from any infections and skin problems.
Almond Oil is an herbal hair oil packing all the goodness of almond extracts, leaving no ground for the dirt of allergens to disturb the hair. It also protects them from falling.
 3.    Amla Hair Oil
Amla or the Indian gooseberry is one of the richest vitamin C source available. Apart from anti-bacterial properties which keep the diseases at bay, this is also another important ingredient for healthy hair growth.
Amla Hair Oil is massaged on the hair and scalps, resulting in good blood circulation overall. This results in healthy follicles which induce good hair growth. This herbal oil is beneficial for hair and anyone can buy this herbal hair oil online.
 4.    Kesh Kanti Hair Oil
Kesh Kanti packs all the natural herbs and barks and essential oils in one place. This boosts not only boosts the growth of hair but also protects them from dust and allergens. Apart from this, good massage with this oil also increases the blood circulation around the hair, thus increasing the hair growth tendency.
Hair dandruff can also be removed to a significant extent with this herbal hair oil. One of the best Ayurvedic hair oils in the market, Kesh Kanti earned its name with thousands of satisfied customers.
 5.    Tejus Tailum
An all-purpose hair, body and massage oil, Tejus Tailum is a powerhouse. It packs many anti-bacterial properties, along with other pain relief herbs and bark extracts. This herbal oil not only decreases the body pain and muscle soreness but also improves hair circulation as well.
This improves the overall strength of the hair and makes them shiny.
Patanjali Ayurved has been around for many years now and has been producing these cleansers for our skin satisfaction and freshness. Backed by the good reviews of an entire country of 1.3 billion, these are some of the best ones to ever roam in the soap markets with this many benefits.
