The second of two illustrations I’ve done for @mysterygreentea‘s fic, How the Cherry Blossoms Bloom for the 2018 S*xtbang!

Jyushimatsu is dead.

In the wake of his death, his girlfriend Homura and his brother Ichimatsu find unexpected comfort and companionship in each other, leading them to become close – close enough to become more than friends.

But sometimes, love might not be enough to heal everything – especially two broken hearts still heavy with grief.

Rating: M Relationships: Ichi/Homura, past Jyushi/Homura Characters: Homura, Ichi; the other Matsunos also show up, as do other characters. Contents: Character death, grief/mourning, romance, second loves, suicide, (future) sexual content, relationship problems, angst, LOTS of angst, drama. More detailed tags are in AO3.

After months of working on it, I’m proud to present my entry for the S*xtbang 2018 event run by @sextbangmods! And it’s angsty IchiHomu because of course it is!!

I made a post about this fic idea a long long time ago, and I can’t believe I found an opportunity to turn it into a reality!! It’s exciting :D Not only that, but this fic will also be illustrated - with wonderful artwork by@luvthesestuff and @Ecchinyatsu! Working with them was so much fun ♥ Their illustrations will be inserted into the fic, so you get to see them as you read!

I have so many people to thank for helping me with this: the S*xtbang mods, Luv and Ecchi, my betas @irkimatsu and Edme, everyone in the S*xtbang server as well as a bunch of other Discord servers I’m active in - I would never have come this far without their help and advice ;v; Thank you so much!!

I’ll be posting the other chapters I’ve been able to write in the next two days, along with Ecchi and Luv’s illustrations. I hope you guys enjoy!! Please do let me what you think ♥♥♥

Signups for S*xtbang have officially closed!

We have a whopping 50 participants which is super exciting for such a brand new event! Thank you to those who have signed up. You will all be receiving an email sometime in the next 24 hours to confirm the role(s) that you have signed on for. Any amendments to these can be done via email after confirmations are sent out.

Now comes the fun part~ Authors, get those creative juices flowing. Artists, sit tight and get ready for claims. Betas and reserves, we’re counting on you should you be contacted.

Also, we know that people may stumble upon this in the next few days and be super bummed they can’t join. HOWEVER: if you want to participate and realized you missed the deadline by just a bit, the mods are willing to make accommodations by April 30th, 2018. Message us privately via tumblr or twitter and we may consider allowing you to join!
