The jasmine is only present on the nose and disappears after the third sip. This varietal cannot be compared to other ubiquitous white wines. I'd present this as a first wine in the early afternoon with small bites of mild cheese and fruits. It's bright and must be served cool. (please for the love do not put ice straight into your wine). Might be good as a base for a drink that calls for prosecco if you don't like prosecco. A strawberry spritzer or pineapple cocktail. Gorgeous artwork. All their bottles are 'pretty' and of course I love the name. They also carry one called "Ode to the Sea". Personal notes: Paso Robles, Pismo, Cambria... all these places are dear to my Californian heart. The time I've spent in the area helps influence how I understand this particular wine.
