Oddly validating to hear one of my local librarians is also in a deep reading slump for the exact same reasons. World sucks, field under attack, brain on fire, sometimes you just gotta veg out about it.

But not exclusively. So I guess this is a support your local library post now. Check stuff out even if you might not get around to reading it, go to some of their programs, be ready to vouch for them in your community
