I imagine fwhip has a good handful of scars from past explsions and inventions gone wrong

He shows them off like they're trophies. Gem kinda hates it (I can see her having scars of her own from something too) while Sausage and Pearl enable it on purpose, and also take the opportunity to show off their own battle scars
