A small Samarie hc I have which is also a hill I will die on is that Samarie isn't a goth but a girl who really loves the look of women from Edwardian (-ish) movie era. Like, the ones with dark lipstick and pale skin. She doesn't draw eyebrows and looks like a corpse instead of a young flirty girl in this makeup, so maybe that's why she reads like a goth.

Oh, also she overlines her lips. By a lot.
